Really lovely place. The breakfast was huge and delicious. The staff were really friendly. The WiFi was strong and the room was nice and quiet at night. The shower pressure was a bit weak but overall this place is really good value for money.

Shadow inn is a nice and clean guest house. I keep doing business with them past 3 years. They grove much better now. The owner lady is a very good cook.always I advice to my clients try here your dinner specially rice covered with banana leaves oh my god.👌👌👌 it is really good strongly reccommonde this place if stay in Ella
Moreover it's close to the city centre,close to little adamspeak,close to ella rock and close to the train station..

Amazing little place. The owners are super friendly, comfortable beds, location is great, breakfast was fab.
Owners are really flexible and let us check in around 9am (as our train arrived at 8am), and let us use a room to change our clothes after hiking the day before getting the train back to Colombo. 5* definitely recommend.

Centrally located, WONDERFUL service, lovely room.

The guest house was located near all the shops and restaurants in Ella Town. Breakfast service was lovely, tea or coffee, fruit, 2 eggs any way you like them, and heaps of toast, butter and jam. While dinner service isn't available, there were many affordable dining options within walking distance. My room was immaculate, with glass doors that opened onto the large balcony. The bed was comfy, with a fluffy comforter and lots of pillows. Common areas were spacious and well furnished. The staff was lovely, especially the younger gentleman who went above and beyond his call of duty to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Location: Very close to village center.
On Poya day there was loud music from some nearby place until at least 23:00 and at 6:00 Buddhist chanting started. On the next day everything was quiet.

We paid 6500 lkr for triple room.

There is WiFi, but there was no reception in our 2nd floor corner room.
There are plenty common areas and terraces.
The breakfast was fairly basic.
