  We didn't book the guesthouse. However we discovered they have the best restaurant in Polonnaruwa to enjoy a meal!
  The friendly waiter and lovely owner take you all the way to the back where this is a little garden. Far away from the noisy street. Under a wall covered by dozens of Gekko's you will enjoy real authentic food for a very cheap price. We ate 3 times there!
  The gekko's are really useful as they keep eating al the insects buzzing around.

  A quaint guest house for the budget traveler. 12 dollars for a room with a fan and ~20 for A/C. Our hosts were very helpful and the room was clean and tidy. I'd recommend it highly for a cheap stay in Polonnaruwa.
