I agree with the below comment its disappointing I regret my self wasting my parents money on this place my father recommended the place because he knows the owner I got the photos to prove the below review please give our money back every time when this comes to my it irritates me a lot in Sri Lanka there is no strong consumer Affair ombudsmen so you are Luky.

What a catastrophic night!!!
After our wedding in Australia me and my wife came to scenic location to have a night stay at Rafters Retreat at Kithulgala, had a nice evening with a nice view of the river from the room, but in the night what a tragedy we had to face! While we were sleeping my wife suddenly shouted I just got up at once to see what happen, ants and creatures were creeping on our body, my wife bitten too with huge red patches on her body…. our bed was having extra guests! with some forest ants and creatures… some were falling from the roof, though we were provided with a Mosquito Net we were not able to use because it was full of dust and room were never cleaned and next day morning we just saw the roof which was with full of forest creatures and ants… and we were not able to sleep at all from the 2 am… we complained to the owner who is Mr. Channa, he never took any action to make us happy, he never came to talk to us and see what happen… but he charged us the full rate for the room without his presence…

Gave us a good welcome to the place though the girl was in the office was a bit highty flighty, the guy was really pleasent and helpful. Had an absolutely amazing rafting journey with well experienced guide(got to know bit because i spoke with them for their previous incidents). The food they served us was super delicious. Mr Channa (Manager) was a cool guy to discuss the business with and I would like to suggest that you people should give a room for changing purposes at least when there is a group with ladies, than showing us a public changing room.

One of the best white water rafting groups. Their boat ride is more lengthier, and do not over fill the boats as some other groups. They also have the helmet with gopro compatible mount. Highly recommended. Be there in early morning to get best experience.

Although these guys get to raft the full strip of river the untrained staff does not know how to make full use of it. They don't speak well, they don't instruct you well, they don't navigate well and they clearly give priority to foreigners over locals.
