I had the pleasure to join the Peacock Hotel team for one night.
The team was absolutely amazing.
Such a friendly team.
Beautiful view.
I slept well and had one yummy fish.
I came from a very Lush hotel and stayed at the peacock. The service and friendly staff over ruled the 5 star hotel.
I will def be back.
Thank you guys.

Beach view , see breeze and closeness to the sea of this hotel is enchanting.Food is freshly prepare and tasty.foods prices are fair too.I work in galle harbour these days so I searched all this area and found the best room charges with facilities included in here.Staff is very friendly and attentive.specially staff member Mr.Amindu gave us a good service during stay.Thank you Peacock Hotel hope to see you soon again and again👍

Value for money, Good "budget hotel."
clean rooms, hotel is directly on the beach with sea facing balconies to relax.
Warm, hospitable and friendly staff.Great sea food n drinks.

The room the view the comfort cleanliness space and friendliness is all top quality here at a very affordable reasonable price!!
Close to gall Dutch fort and enough away from the noise of the road you will really adore this location.

Average size bedroom for a cheap price facing the sea. Air-conditioning unit was leaking on the second day and had to turn it off, resulting in a very warm night. General Manager was very helpful and tried to do everything he could. Gave 3 stars becos of its prime location, else would have rated it lower.

Only for the view!
Dirty bed sheet, over-aged towel, no toilet roll (I asked twice to have some, we never had it), dirty in general, surcharge for the AC (not included with the room).
We had a room at the top floor: the walls of the room and bathroom (that is supposed to isolate you from other rooms) doesn't go up to the ceiling/roof so you can hear everything from the other rooms: showing, toilet noise, music, even talking!
The light from other rooms goes through that gap between the wall and ceiling.
Don't expect to sleep: your neighbour will wake you up no matter what: you can hear absolutely everything.
Staff roughly helpful. No wi-fi even if they pretend to!

Only good thing about the hotel is the view from the balcony! But there are so many other hotels on the beach with better service, tastier food and reasonable prices. Avoid this one!

We spent 2 nights in this hotel next to the beach. All the staff is very helpfull and friendly. The room was clean and we can recommend this place.
