Palitha is a sweet and thoughtful individual who goes the extra mile. She not only arranged my transport to Pidurangala rock but accompanied me in the auto at 5am so I wasn’t traveling in the dark alone. Clean digs and good food. Allows for late checkout as well.

Located between 2 roads and surrounded by trees.
Clean Bedroom and Bathroom.

Really nice and quiet place, Baggah and his mother Malika were really nice and helpful.
They arranged a shuttle service for us in a Toyota Prius which was confortable after a long flight. We had a nice rice and curry for dinner and nice breakfasts. Their house is off the Main Street which is really good.
The room was spacious and clean.
They took us to the Lion's rock with their Tutuk and you can walk back it's not that far. Very close to bus station if you want to head to Kandy.response / report this review -

It's a lovely place right into the jungle. Every morning you can see the monkeys climbing the trees right next to the homestay. Also, the owner is so kind and always ready to help you in any way. She can arrange trips, cook delicious food and can tell you a lot about the area. Be aware of the monkeys though, they tend to throw down the mangos that they eat from the trees :) Palitha, you are the best! Best place we have been so far! (We've been to Negombo, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Ella)

We have enjoyed our stay at palitha home stay very much .the meals were excellent and our hostess very friendly and helpful at all times. We also enjoyed the wonderful pancakes at breakfast. Thank you very much.
