Beautiful hotel! Our accommodation was paddy dwelling with plunge pool and it was perfect! There was so much wildlife to see around the hotel and the Loris trail was amazing. The food at the hotel was very good quality and delicious! Very good location for those who want to visit Sigiriya. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Really an amazing place. Extremely high quality service with brilliant food. 7 course a la carte menu is available for both lunch and dinner. The best food I had in this country. Presentation, attention to detail and quality is unmatched. Very simple attentive staff. Even chef come to you for your opinion.
Attention to detail is high.
Three types of Very luxurious villas with spacious interiors and all necessary amenities. You’ll be relax before u know it. Breathtaking simple surroundings. Calming environment. Lobby includes a library beside the pool.
Highly recommend for honeymooners.

Vil Uyana is located in the heart of the historic center of Sigiriya in an extremely characteristic, quite and lively area within short distance to all sites and is surrounded by the extraordinary beauty of paddy fields, forest and garden. You will have a good ride on a mini electric vehicle to the Reception of the hotel.

Nice hotel with great food & a wonderful set of people! I've been staying here for more than a year now & it will not be an exaggeration to say that I have had an absolutely pleasurable stay here. People are wonderful people who have made my stay even more comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to all those who would like to stay close to the airport.

If you want to get away from your busy lifestyle then this hotel is the place to be. The GM Kingsley gives attention to detail and mingles with all the quest to see that they are comfortable & all the requirements are met. Please visit the spa and ask for Shamin for a facial. She is the best there. I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.

I been only here for 2 days so far and have 4 more days to go. But I have to say this is by far the best experience I ever had. The staff is amazing everyone is so courteous. This location is so peaceful and my wife loves it. This is something I would highly recommend. You have to stay here at least once you will love it.

One of best experience ever had. So calm and quiet. Good service. Animals are also in natural habitats with humans. Beware of bees. Water bodies are a bit dried up. They said raining will be start in September to January

One amazing and must visit romantic hotel. Villas are amazing with a private plunge pool. Every room and villa has a spectacular view of paddy fields, jungle or the lake. Water dwellings are the best to stay.

Excellent food and 5 star hospitality.

Absolute luxury, a perfect place for a honeymoon. We stayed in the Forrest Dwelling, and the private pool was an amazing place to relax and have a swim. Service here was superb, and the food (we opted for half board, i.e. breakfast + dinner) was excellent too. The spa centre provides affordable and high quality whole body massages. My wife can't stop talking about this place now, and we would visit again in a heart beat. Expensive, but absolutely fully worth the price.

We came for dinner and were immediately impressed by the entrance, over a pool, and the refined upstairs dining room. We opted for the tasting menu. I'd normally take you through this step by step, but on this occasion it can be summed up as disappointing. All style, no substance. The well presented amuse bouche consisted of a square of bread with a half olive - no flavour to be found whatsoever. The mains were very overcooked, lacked sauces or accompaniments to set them off. All very bland and lacking in proper seasoning and spices. But on the plus side, an excellent wine list

Overall it was a shame that the beautiful setting, and obvious effort in the production of some good looking plates, was not backed up with better food.

Absolutely stunning! Very friendly helpful staff whom all speak good English! Massive beautiful villas all in a stunning location. Fantastic wildlife around every corner. Peacocks, turtles, snakes, monkeys, bats chipmunks, lizards and of course the crocodile!! We stayed half board for 2 weeks and could pick something different off the menu every night! The food is excellent. The hotel uses UK 3 pin plugs so if you're English you won't need an adapter. To sum up - I can't fault this place. It's expensive but it will be a holiday to remember!
