We have been watching Rugby here as kids too. The best Rugby ground in Kandy. Covered pavilion is way too expensive. You get sun burnt as afternoon sun blast directly at you. Even the uncovered tiers are way too hot to sit. They shd start the games around 4.30 or 4 .45 as it were ealier. Yes it would be too dark at the end of the game then SLRB shd adjust the schedules to suite Sri Lanka. Parking at this venue is a no no. Horrible. I am sorry to say this being a KSC fan.

A lovely and quality rugby ground which is placed in Central Province. Even can be denoted as the best ground in SL. Love to visit this pleasent place.

This place looks more cooler than the Bogambara stadium. It is easier to reach too. Only problem is the limited amount of parking. The road to the stadium ix a bit narrow. So public transport is preferrable.
Anyhow you can get the very best experience of a rugby game from here. This is the home ground of Kandy Sports Club (KSC)response / report this review -

Very old Rugby ground and Stadium in Kandy. Picturesque Rugby ground. Good crowd stands and parking. Very popular venue with all Rugby fans both domestic and foreign.
