It is indeed excellent maternity hospital in Sri Lanka. And the hospital equipped with all necessary facility for mother and baby care.
Excellent service to the whole team.. rooms are cleaned and well maintained, very kind and helpful staff. Had my delivery last February and it was so smooth, very caring nurses.. Feels like really at home the way they take care of me and my baby.
Thank you to the best doctor Sudheera Uduwela for my safe delivery had my healthy baby boy. YOU are BEST👌

An excellent hospital with all the modern modern facilities. Rooms are excellent and well maintained. The staff is well trained and very helpful.

However after a recent acquisition hospital has gone through an expansion without concerning the comfort of the visitors. Now you have to wait in a queue to park your vehicle again. Adjacent consultation rooms are utilized at the same time so patients don't even have a place to sit. Pharmacy needs more staff since you have to wait at least 15 minutes to get your items collected. The management should consider these convenience factors before making rapid expansions.

Hospital with all the modern facilities. But very limited space for parking. Can't understand why they won't spend money to build a decent car parking lot like Nawaloka or Durdans. Till they do that my rating won't change.

Please don't go to ninewalles as i had my worst experience few days back. Price is OK but the service is very poor, expect the same. Pass this message if you go and have the same bad service which I had. Very disappointing. 1 or two staff are very helpful but 99% sorry to say, sorry. Com only.

An excellent hospital with modern facilities. Had limitations in parking lately but now it has been resolved by adding more space for parking. Rooms are excellent and well maintained.

Update : 3/3/2018 - Hospital has gone through an expansion without concerning the comfort of the visitors. Now you have to wait in a queue to park your vehicle again. Admission to the hospital took 45 minutes to 1hour (to get the requested room..)
Room facility standards to be improved.. (TV was not working properly..)
Most of the (90%) staff are friendly and helpful.. But rest of the staff (10%) behaviour is not acceptable in a place like this.
Billing section showed the most poor perfomance among the ninewells team. They took more than 2hours & 30minutes to prepare the bill and the way they dealt with the customer was not acceptable.
Room rates are starting from 4500 to 22500. (4500, 8500, 11500, 14500 22500). Package will be decided based on the type of room that you choose. But there is no clear indication about room rates in the bill

The hospital offers great service. Doctor Sudheera Uduwela is such an amazing person and also a true professional. The restaurant area can improve but overall from parking to little things it's a good experience. Also it will be great if something can be done for waiting time. I know it's unavoidable at times but there can be a way to minimize waiting time.

The Ninewells Hospitals is leading children's health care expert in Sri Lanka. that Provide medical expert care, advanced technology and comfortable surroundings. However parking facility is not good need to wait considerably time in the line to park the vehicle.

This was an excellent hospital previously but now the service is being detoriated. More floors are being added to the service and parking is not sufficient anymore. It had a nice atmosphere but recent renovations has affected the place a lot.

Caring and attend for emergencies immediately. Service is excellent. Staff is well experienced. Admissions are quick and no need to wait in ques. Cons: intercom is not working properly. Needs a cafeteria.

One of the leading maternity and children's hospital in colombo. It gives good care for patients and has worm and welcoming environment. But not all the aspects of care deserve five stars. e.g.: nursing care. Overall it gives acceptable care.

The first name which comes to mind when considering private Children's Hospitals in Colombo. Has improved greatly since the take over by the Access Group. Car parking needs to be (and could be easily) improved. Overall good services provided to patients and visitors.

I think the hospital is fine, except certain medicinal items may be missing at times. But the vaccine we were looking for was not available in all hospitals. Therefor i can't blame Ninewells for that.

On the other hand when my wife got admitted to for delivery of our baby, the staff was very helpful. Since it was our first baby we did not have any clue about how to handle a baby. The Hospital Staff was available Day & Night at the touch of the emergency button.
