  Very cunning salespeople !
  
  They advertise as they buy gold for money as they are gold refiners. But when I took in my gold chain for sale they told that its 20k not 22k. I checked in HNB and Sampath bank and both banks said its 22k.
  
  The salesmen were giving me looks as if Im a thief and they said they cant buy it as I dont have the purchase invoice of the chain. The chain was more than 50 years old and it was given to me by my father who didnt even remember where he bought it from. I just wanted to sell it as I dont wear gold and I wanted to buy a watch with the money.
  
  Then I had to go all the way to Swarnamahal Jewelers to sell it. Very bad experience and extremely unpleasant salesmen at the Pettah branch.
  
  Dont buy gold from here, you dont know what you are getting !
  
  Utterly disgusting and I wish the Owner sees this !
