Always get the timing wrong with take away orders. There's a significant difference between a half an hour and a hour. Communication must improve. Food quality also fluctuates heavily.

One of the best Chinese food restaurants in the kandy city. Be prepared for delays in lead time as the normal preparation time is 20 minutes. Friendly staff. Also delivers food in the city. Clean and has a cool look.

The food is good but extremely spicy. I had order the deviled fish with rice - mild. Amazing taste, great blend of all spicy but even though I asked for mild, it was still very spicy.
So I would suggest to be careful of the spicy level , other than that, place is great, a little expensive as compared to other place. But a little splurge is good on a vacation ;)response / report this review -

It's now called "New Flower Song". I haven't been at the "old" one, but this restaurant serves mediocre Chinese food at best. Staff appeared inexperienced and not very motivated. Pricing of the food is reasonable given the size of the servings (even a "medium" serving is huge!). However, my "crispy chicken" drowned in garlic sauce. The sizzling cuttlefish which my wife had was ok but really nothing special. The atmosphere of this place is quite sterile and we didn't feel very comfortable here at all. They also don't sell beer or wine here. If you're looking for alternatives to rice and curry, other locations (such as the World Spice) are possibly better options.
