Loved Wije's place! So welcoming & friendly, a really genuine & kind guy. Our rooms were homey and cozy and were also shown the newer rooms which had great pride taken in them. Very reasonable prices, with breakfast on offer. We loved our stay and would highly recommend for a more personal Ella experience 😊

We mistaked our booking and they were able to fix it and offer us another room, breakfast included, great price, views from the room and all help you can imagine with local tips and advices. The whole family always smilling, we end up playing cricket (or pretending) with the kids. 120% recommended.

Best guest house in Sri Lanka! The owner and his wife are the most friendliest and most welcoming people i met in Sri Lanka. I booked a room upstairs. From there you will have an amazing view to the Ella Rock. Everythin was perfect, very comfotable bed, very clean bathroom with hot shower and a strong WIFI connection.

What a wonderful location for viewing the mountains.

Food is served both local and English breakfast.
The standard tea in the morning comes to the door. It's like you want to say ; thank you James;)
The owner is helpful and assist in most things.
Rooms are decent and clean,bath room too.

I recommend go to the top of the building and enjoy the view - go 6 am to 7. You will not regret it

Первое впечатление все отлично! На станции встретил хозяин доставил нас в гостиницу, угостили чаем с вкусным пирогом. Приготовили ужин. Спасибо. А номерах есть все необходимое, все со вкусом и чисто.

Lovely small rooms with big windows overlooking a great view, and a balcony to enjoy the surroundings and some tea. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to anything, even though I preferred taking a tuktuk back up at night.
