An amazing first meal in Sri Lanka and exactly what we were craving as an introduction to local cuisine after a long journey. Served by the most lovely family, we didn’t have quite enough cash on us when we came to pay the bill but they were perfectly happy with us dropping by the next day to pay. This is a must to eat at when visiting beautiful Galle.

We did the cooking school. Lovely people and a great in depth and hands on cooking school. Curry and rice from family recipes with good instruction and description. A very good way to learn more about Sri Lankan food and culture! Based on the curry we made in the school I'm sure the curry and rice at the restaurant is also great, sadly we don't have time to go!

They only sell one meal, a collection of 10 curries with rice. It's enough to share between two people and it's absolutely delicious. 9/10 curries are vegan and one was a spicy chicken one. Great collection of the local produce and cooking style. Cute little restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating covered in greenery and fairy lights

Ten curries prepared to perfection complemented by well cooked fresh rice. Went for lunch when the only item they serve is this rice and curry. Price was reasonable given what you get compared to rest of Old Fort restaurants - 1500 rupees. Service is good and the restaurant itself is very simple. Would strongly advise visiting.

Great value and very good food! We had 6 people and got the curry and rice that came with a vast variety of curries. We got 3 servings and despite there being way more than enough for all of us, it only cost 750 LKR per person! Excellent value and one of the best meals I’ve had in the fort so far.

We stumbled across Lucky Fort while exploring Galle Fort and decided we'd go there for dinner. It turned out to be a great decision. The curry for two option is perfect for those searching for authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, and it's one of the few places in the area that also serve beer.

We then both got henna tattoos, courtesy of Mama Luck's charming and talented daughter, Hansi.

Not finished there, we signed up for a cooking class the next day. This was one of the most enriching experiences of our entire holiday. We'll be sure to practice at home and hopefully impress people!

This is a really nice family-run restaurant in the heart of Galle Fort. Really great place to try authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, especially if you're a tourist. Added bonus: extremely cheap! (But still very high-quality)

This place has been run by a family, the kids and the parents. It gives variety of vegetable curries and one non veg curry, cooked in traditional silankan style. The mother and father are the chefs and the kids serve them. Don't miss out on this while u r Galle. All preparations made less spicy to suit tourists need.

10 curries for only 900 rupees! Yes please! Loved the daal curry so much so they gave us an extra heapful of it for free. Fantastic family run restaurant. Not to be missed.

Absolutely amazing value located in beautiful Galle Fort. A fantastic family run restaurant serving the best value curry experience in the area. Lovely homely setting and friendly service (be prepared to wait for a seat, it is absolutely worth it)

We really enjoyed our dinner in this small restaurant. The 10 curries with rice is a great way to try different variations of the "traditional way of eating rice and curry in Sri Lanka" (mix 4 random curries with rice and create a kind of salad). It was a great meal for 2. The banana lassies we had were really tasty as well.

This place is in a quiet part/street of Galle Fort and doesn't look appealing at first eye. But the reviews from Tripadvisor made us going to this place. We of course wanted to try the 10 curry's where everyone writes positive about. And we couldn't agree more! We loved all the 10 curry's and also the rice was cooked to perfection and had a good taste. We finished it all completely. The portion was exactly enough. It gives a nice taste of real homemade Sri Lankan food. Just 950 rupees for 2 persons is almost too cheap for this experience & quality.
