One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. Must pass some tiring hundreds of steps to reach the fall. Not recommend for elderly. Once you reach its a huge space with bath able rock puddles all around you. Water is cool and you can have a pleasant bath while sunbathing. Can walk to the foot of the fall too. Water fall is beautiful and the water mist covers the area all the time. Picturesque landscape. If you are ready with a meal you can spend all day here. The place is overwhelming.

It is I a remote are of central Sri Lanka. But a reasonable motorable road even by a car with a nice staircase all well build up to the fall. It is tiresome but not dangerous. The fall it self takes your breath away.
Few local water collected pools and icy-cold water.the experience of a life time.

One of the prettiest waterfalls in Sri Lanka. You can enjoy the beauty of it from bottom or you can visit the top of the waterfall. Reaching there in a normal vehicle a bit difficult because the road condition is so bad. But a 4X4 would do it easily. But worth it because it has such a nice view.

The place is awesome, attractive and a best place to capture moments

Everything fine but you have to climb steps more than 500+ so carry less things

And the way to this falls is worst so better go by a 4*4 a suitable vehicle
*note never go with a honda fit😞

You can go to the top of lakshapana falls but should be careful when water levels are high and speed. Find the trail from lakdasun and go accordingly. Great view from the top of the falls and there are few spots upper to the falls where you can bath but should be very careful.

Beautiful waterfall with a great base pool to take a dip in. Easy to reach the base on a concrete staircase laid out from the village. Climbing back maybe a bit tough depending on your physical fitness.

Laxapana Falls is 126 m (413 ft) high and the 8th highest waterfall in thr Country and 625th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Maskeliya area in Nuwara Eliya District in a village called Kiriwan Eliya.

Amazing it won't disappoint you after tiring effort to reach the place.
Road is very tricky after turning from Norton- Maskeliya road to reach this place. Once you reached park the vehicle on the road. Not much shops are there. Must be prepared to climb down few hundreds steps some are steep, to fall viewing spot and most importantly climb up again to the road. Special attention needed if you have kids.
One small cool drink shop is there in middle where you can drink some soft drinks if you tired climbing.
