We only stayed one night, which was a shame given how nice the place was. Good amenities, nice food and a great view. The access is a bit gnarley due to the road quality, but such is the price of seclusion.

Perfect location for this small and quiet hotel. Located on the lake front, it has excellent views and lots and lots of birds in the shallow water and grassy wetland. Rooms are clean, spacious and have good showers and a/c. Evening food was average quality, okay if you don't want to pay for transport in to town. Breakfast was excellent, lots of tasty fruit, eggs, hoppers and more.
Highly reccomended for couples and those who love nature and the outdoors, the location is beautiful, service good and hotel is fresh and modern.response / report this review -

These guys are doing their best. Clean, stylish and spacious rooms with ac snd hot water. Nice and cozy lobby with rest area. Breakfast is like a festival! (see photo) Amazing view on a lake with a lot of various birds in the morning. Friendly personnel and good cook. We ordered one dish to share for dinner and portion was like two big ones, taste is delicious.

Il miglior albergo del nostro viaggio! Oltre a una vista spettacolare sul lago, lo staff è cordiale e sempre disponibile. Le camere ariose e pulite! Anche le cene sono molto buone!

Clean. Very very nice staff!! Mosquito net. Hot water. Beautiful place to rest after safari. Good safari, driver/guide make the impossible to see a leopard. Thanks!!!

Ein Stück Paradies!
Traumhafte Aussicht auf den See, während neben einem die Wasserbüffel grasen, alles hat eine friedliche Atmosphäre, zu dem sonst so turbulenten Stadtverkehr.
Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, überaus geräumig und dazu noch alles recht neu.
Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und der Transfer von und zum Busbahnhof in Tissa klappte trotz des vielen Verkehrs (Vollmondfestival= Ausnahmezustand) sehr gut.
Nachtrag:
Die Safari die vom Fahrer Sudu(15 Jahre Erfahrung) geführt wurde war jede Rupie wert, wir konnten zweimal Leoparden und mehrere Elefanten sowie Wildschweine, Rehe, Krokodile, verschiedenste Vogelarten und so weiter sehen die uns gekonnt erklärt wurden.

location is not easy to find, but if u call hotel ahead, they will come to pick u free from tissa bus station to hotel. All staff very nice and helpful. There is a free boat trip to tissa lake. The boat driver is friendly and know well about the lake. Amazing scenery. The fruits in hotel is free of charge. The staff give me a lot of bananas. Haha. And they can book safari. Food is tasty. Room is clean.Only one i am not very happy is that they don't have tv inside room. I dont know other rooms, but i don't have one. Anyway it's a nice hotel. When i come they have the last one uint and it's triple room but they give me only one person. For me, i concern more about service and the attitude of hotel than other thing. So i recommend this hotel.
