Interesting place, when I first entered it kind of reminded me of Maldives, nice huts, wonderful pool. The views over the rice field are great. Yet, the rooms are poor lighted, lots of insects. The staff is great.

Very nice place with very nice stuff. The location is not in the city but they provide a tuktuk to town and back for good prices. They are even able to arrange safari tours to yala national park. You can have breakfast lunch and dinner here. You simply choose from the menu and csll the time and everything will be ready. Our room was really good. This is a eco friendy hotel, it may happen that you find really really small ants or whatever in the room. Holding the doors close should help! :)

I would say this place is exceptional ! As a local living in very busy stressing colombo, for me it was a perfect getaway ❤ Love the surrounding paddy, it's concept of eco friendly was outstanding. The rooms were really.clean, nice and unique. Lovely pool. I prefer a bit of improvement in the food still I would recommend this place for any local or foreign guests who would like to feel the nature and to be relaxed. After all I don't forget to thank the staff who were very supportive and friendly 🎉 Keep up guys! Thank you all for the lovely vacation ❤

I loved the place , definitely eco friendly , simple but sophisticated , he staff has been so nice to us ! A little bit remote but quiet ,nice pool , view in a rice plantation full of birds - I really recommend the place

Very nicely done up boutique hotel with just 9 huts. They have done everything to keep the look rustic and local eco friendly. Extremely helpful staff and always with a smile. Food could be betterwe were there for 2 nights and they did not fish or seafood in stock !!? That's dampening considering you are in Sri Lanka and Seafood shouldn't be a problem to source. Another drawback were the flies at the dining roomcan be better managed while being eco friendly.

Great place to relax. Away from any hustle and bustle. The mud huts look out over rice fields. We booked one night but decided to stay a second.

Good location if you want to visit Yala National Park. It's a eco friendly place. The place looks very nice with the beautiful lodges. Only downside are the bugs. Because of the eco friendliness, there are a lot of flies when your eating breakfast and we had some cockroaches crawling inside our lodge.

One of the best boutique experience you could imagine. Friendly staff and awesome surrounding are the key features and you can have a large variety of food here. This place is literary an Eco friendly location. Would recommend it all stars.

What a lovely place!!! As soon as we see the pictures we knew that we had to stay at this hotel! The decoration, the surroundings, and the chalets are so beautiful and picturesque that the only thing we regret, is that we stayed only one night. Nevertheless, since you'll be staying in a rustic chalet on the edge of a rice field, you have to keep an open mind and be willing "share" your room with some frogs and small insects. The staff was super kind and helpful! We had early morning safari and they prepared us the breakfast to take away. The food from the restaurant is just ok. And as many other guests have mentioned, the pool is the absolute highlight of the hotel, especially after the safari!

Cozy small village built just outside Tissamahara. Very nice welcome and accommodation even if the pool needs more care. Each room is a small "chalet" with Air conditioned and a small terraces. The bathroom has got rocks as floor. Owners and service are very kind. The hotel Is about 20 minutes far from Yala park entrance.

We stayed there during April as we got a fantastic deal on a booking site. The place is nice and tidy. Value for money. However if you go there don't forget to take cash as they will not accept cash.
