  Located by the Debarawewa tank. Nice view point in the morning and the evening. Friendly staff. Luxury rooms for a reasonable cost. Recommended

  Tranquil setting which is a great contrast from the hectic towns and cities. We sat outside on a hammock and were amazed by the amount of difference species of birds we could see over the lake. Around 1 Mile on the same road there are trees full of fruit bats which is well worth a visit at sun set when they all come to life, the sky fills up with them! To top a prefect stay off, the hostess cooked us a local meal and it was perfect.

  Great Place for the money, Air Conditioned rooms with a balcony and view over the lake. Nice Garden and very friendly owner. We even got hot water, it's not everywhere like this in Sri Lanka. Tue Room and bed were clean too.

  Beautiful place, the owner is very nice and welcoming and made sure we had everything we wanted. The food is not bed and the lake close by it stunning. We stayed in the budget room and it was very good.

  Enjoy the picturesque sun kissed landscape at the bank of a lake frequented by birds. This hotel and the rooms ate pretty good but understaffed when we visited, but the owner will always be ready to help you. You can expect water tap problems, no automatic water tank filling so running out of water in the middle of your bath, etc. Nearest town is 2km away, so if you reach late and do not want to wait for them to prepare dinner, come with take away dinner. However you will forget all these small issues once you see the surrounding nature.

  Can not believe that this place only has one star! We stayed there for three days and nights in the end of October. The people working at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. English speaking and polite and the food were very delicious. We were invited to a local wedding at the hotel and treated as quests. Wifi was working fine. The rooms and bath facility were like a 3-4 star hotel and the service were that of a 4-5 star hotel!!!
  The nature in the surrounding area is very attractive! I will really recommend this hotel!
