This is a busy station because all trains are stop here. At the office times both morning and evening this station is very busy. The staff is supply good service. The environment is good.

Most of the trains stop at Kaluthara South railway station, it's near Kaluthara Bodhiya. Usually crowded in office hours. Take about 1 hr 30 min to reach Colombo in a slow train. Express trains take about 1 hour.

Another key station in coastal line. There are lot of people who traveling daily to Colombo for their no. During th office hours it's very busy place. Cafeteria is not much good. On site staff is there through out the day. During non working hours there are some few trains to Colombo and aluthgama.
