Good place for wedding ceremony. Delicious food is served too. Nice scenery of the elephant bathing just adjacent to the hotel. Has spacious car park as well.

It ia an amaziing place at pinnawala, very close to the pinnawala elephant orphanage.you can enjoy with foods seen many elephants visinity around hotel premises.

Staff are rude and clearly don't care about their guests, we're just there to be taken of advantage of for money. Food was disgusting and price was too much. We had to pay 200 lkr for purchase orphanage tickets just to get into the hotel lobby an hour before check in at 4pm. Not even worth it for the view of the elephants because all ticket holders can see the same view. All the great reviews purely for the elephants are misleading people. Think twice before booked it.

The hotel with the best view of the River (Elephant bathing). Buffet lunch starts by 12pm and goes to around 3pm. Snacks can be ordered any time. Friendly service by attentive waiters! Clean toilets!

We had a great time in there best place to chill in rabukkana.Pinnalanda hotel has a nice river view rooms and food was delicious and the stuff also friendly. Highly recommend ❤

Visited the place for my classmates wedding,nice place with good view of the Ma oya and if you are lucky enough you can see elephants bathing. And the food is delicious and nice helpful staff

This hotel is horrible. After spending over 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, this place stood out for all the wrong reasons. Staff are rude and clearly don't care about their guests, we're just there to be taken of advantage of for money. We had no running water in our bathroom and the pipes made our whole room smell like a sewer. Food was disgusting. I could barely even get through it. Lied to us about the wifi being "deactivated" - until we guessed the password. We had to pay 2500 lkr each to purchase orphanage tickets just to get into the hotel lobby an hour before check in at 4pm. Not even worth it for the view of the elephants because all ticket holders can see the same view. All the great reviews purely for the elephants are misleading people. COULDN'T GET OUT OF THERE FAST ENOUGH.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
This was the 8th hotel on our sri lanka trip and by far the worst.
After arriving 1 hour earlier than the check in time we were informed we needed to pay 5000 rupees ($50) before we were even allowed to sit in the lobby and wait for our room or wait 200m down the driveway in the rain until the check in time what hotel doesn't allow you to arrive early and wait for the room to be ready? Check in was 4pm we arrived at 3pm. Ridiculous.
Our room wasn't too bad until we went to the bathroom, it smelt like open sewerage pipes and we had no running water.
The staff couldn't care less about the guests.

Come to Pinnawala to see the elephants but continue on to another destination for a hotel with half an idea.

I visited there for a Homecoming function as I am a professional Videographer. Great outside view there. You can see the elephants bathing scene from the inside. I enjoyed lot.
Foods are very good. Friendly service.
