Hotel Elephant Park is at the boundary of Mahaweli River and exactly on the elephant bathing point. So, hotel is having nice view point for elephant bathing wath.

Can have a nice cup of tea or coffee or other snack and can watch elephant bathing from here. Elephants are walking to bathing point just passing the restaurant and can have very close look up of elephants from there.

Nice and friendly hotel and restaurant staff. Having rest room facilities also added advantage there.

They have nice restaurant on the top floor. By the lunch time they have good buffet wester or local style or possible to order with the menu.

At breakfast time few Elephants was already enchained just under our restaurant.
The herd came at 10am, we don't paid anything as asked at the reservation.

Service Staff. Friendly

Bedroom and bathroom not really clean.
Hairs and dust every where on the floor.
Dirty refrigerator.
Provided with towels, liquid soap and toilet paper.

Basic Western Style Buffet Breakfast

WiFi good signal.

Multi Channel TV

Quiet hotel. Free car park.

Very convenient place, delivered what they promised being at a prime location where Elephants have their daily bath!

Rooms are clean, hot shower, towel and AC!

Breakfast was good too, staff is very friend and helpful.

Overall, recommend to stay for the Elephants visit.

Ideally located close to the herd walkway quiet after three pm you have the place to yourself.Idyllic river location lovely staff good meals clean well maintained rooms

It was one of our highlights of our hoilday. Watching the elephants going down to the river and bathing was unbelievable, they just love it. Well worth going their.

Beautiful view of the river. Located right at the elephant bathing spot where the elephants from the orphanage across the road come to bathe. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The road to the hotel closes between 2-4 pm to let the elephants through, so adjust your timing accordingly. Attractions nearby are the Elephant Orphanage and the Zoo. Elephant dung paper factory near as well

We arrived on 11 Feb 2017 at 10.30 pm. The room was clean & comfortable. The room overlooked the river where the elephants from orphanage come to take bath everyday around 10 am. The staff was friendly & helpful. A buffet breakfast was laid out with lots of choice. We had a very fantastic view of bathing elephants while having breakfast,so we skipped visit to the orphanage. Though we stayed for one night we would surely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with view of elephant bathing in Ma-oya. has very limited numbers of rooms and they are clean and well organized. 3 reception halls are available for functions like weddings or parties. These halls are average. No A/C, carpets etc. Foods are average. Has a large car park.

Had a real nice and quiet one overnight-stay here in a beautiful room with a friendly staff and a good cook. Awesome was the morning having here a "first-row-box-seat" in direct neighborhood of the awesome elephant bath. Very recommendable hotel.
