Looks of it its good but i never had a chance to check there meals

Please avoid this place at all cost. The owner of this place is a lunatic thug and rude to his customers. I'm saying this because of two incidents happened when we stopped there for the lunch.
1) An elderly man self served his lunch from the buffet and sit and started to eat his meal peacefully. Suddenly the owner came and shouted rudely at the elderly man "No, no you can't sit there go to that table" showing another table in the corner. The helpless man silently changed the table.
2) There was another family having lunch. Later, when that family requested the bill, the owner just said the amount vocally without giving the bill and then the man of that family went to the counter and asked politely about the breakdown of the amount. Suddenly the owner got agitated and started to shout using filthy words at him for questioning about the amounts. Then a lady from the same family went to the counter and said they have the right to ask for the breakdown of the bill since it was higher than the mentioned prices of the dishes. But he kept shouting like a thug even at the lady. Even after paying the amount, the owner threatened them to hit saying "I'll slap you and drag you out of the premises if you don't leave right now". Finally the family with a man, a lady, a toddler and an elder lady had to leave the premises having an unpleasant time because of this lunatic. My kids also got scared seeing the owner's behavior and we also left quickly without even having our meal properly.
I've traveled to every corner of Sri Lanka but this is the first time I've ever witnessed a this kind of a rude lunatic behavior from an owner of a business towards his own customers.response / report this review -

We stayed at Hotel Athina for four nights and it was over all a very positive experience. The small guest house is run by a very nice family and situated close to Chilaw city. The rooms and bathrooms were very nice and clean! The beds were super comfy. The food was really tasty as well. We have stayed at many guest houses in Chilaw and this was by far the best. The owner and his family went out of their way to make us comfortable and meet our every need.

The food was really good. If you won’t spend the night there, you should at least go to the restaurant. The room was ok and the breakfast was really good. Order srilankan food, it’s prepared with love from the owners wife. The owner is very talkative and will give you good advice where to go or to stay.
