The amazing landscape at the mountains are just breathtaking
go for a trek at this place which is a long 8km trek through forest, mountains, river and waterfalls
The world's end and the tropical path through forests are enjoyable

It is plain park with natural surroundings.
The breeze is so pure, without any pollution. Though it is around 9 KM, when you walk along with the loved ones it is incomparable pleasure.
We can see a falls, World's End ( a deep valley), and beautiful surroundings.

A brilliant park, far less packed than the nearby wildlife safari parks but offers a great safari opportunity. We could stop and take photos without thinking of the cars behind, and I felt we got closer to the animals. Bundala National Park was beautiful with lots of animals to see and the jeep comfortable. Great bird viewing, several dozen species. Lots of peacocks, including a male dancing ritual. Elephants, Crocodiles, Wild boars, Mongoose, Deer, Monkeys, Rabbits, Tortoise and many more. You need a knowledgeable guide, a pair of binoculars and a camera, then just enjoy a couple of hours seeing the wonders of nature.

Just had a great camping experience again. The public service employees here from Wild Life Conservation are under appreciated. I had the most courteous, most professional service I've ever seen in the Public Sector. Kudos to those men and women who work without a so much of a Thank You to protect this precious place. Stunning views. I can imagine it to be even more amazing on a clear day. A very easy 3 hour walk. I would recommend going in the direction of Mini World's End then finishing off with the waterfall. Bring a rain coat and dress warmly as it gets quite windy here. Wear layers you can peel off as it get warmer and put back on if it gets cooler.

Beautiful views and a good 3 hour hike.
Best to start the hike in the morning as it can get pretty hot in the open fields.
Do expect a lot of fellow travellers on the trail and a line at the entrance is not uncommon in the high season.

Get very great experience of grassy lands and forest. the 3 hour long walk will give you mini edge of the world, edge of the world and very eye catching water falls. one will get good experience of natural habitat along with some wild animals. try to start your trek from left side of junction as this will help you in getting more descents. no plastic of flammable material is allowed except for water bottles. entrance fee is more than what is for locals and around 2500-3000 sirilankan rupee. try to start your trek in early morning.

This site is totally worth it. For me it is not only the world's end view in the middle of the trek, but the whole trek up till, enjoying the incredible scenery and landscape, birds etc. Very nice. I would recommend once you reach little worlds end continue up the hill, enjoy view and continue into the jungle. You will reach the main path soon. Very nice unique forest landscape this whole trek.

World's End and the mini World's End are amazing sights to visit here. But do take note that it is a long and a very difficult grade walk to those sights. Only worth visiting on a clear day and very early in the day, otherwise the clouds will rise and block the amazing views. Best to be there before 7am.

Great place to walk along wide plains through mist and explore mountains.
Water is in its most purest format. Birdlife is quite rich. You may see the elusive leopard if it's your day.

Nice trekking trail. Great panoramic views of natural landscapes. Minimum half a day required to relish the surroundings. Keep enough fuel in your vehicle as there is no gasoline station in immediate vicinity.

Lovely walk to the ‘world’s edge’ albeit wet. Unfortunately when we got there all we could see was cloud. Apparently there are clear days. The visitors centre had an interesting history of the plains. Sadly it was inhabited by elephants until the British colonists shot them all for sport. Very sad.

This is a National Park belongs to the Government of Sri Lanka. Restrictions are applied to the safety of the fauna and flora of this nature park. It has a vast bio diversity and highly recommended for the nature lovers. Please do not make any disturbance to the bio-diversity of this nature reserve during your visit.

My wife is not Srilankan. She was charged Rs.4,000/- to get in an I was charged Rs. 60/-🤷🏽‍♂️. This is not fair at all. They we asking me a proof of evidence that she is my wife. I had a soft copy on my mobile but they said they need to see the original. If we were a group they said they could charge Rs. 3,000/-. No emergency points, no protection fens at the worlds end, no mobile signals, no path for disabled people.

One of our world heritage. Latest archaeological facts says that before 10,000 years back, our ancient relations farm paddy in this location which means we ate rice before 10,000 years back. It is a nice experience to be Horton plains, Bakers Falls and rest.

Good place for hiking. Water fall, river, plains in a huge area, small forest animals (not harming, not poisonous) everything is included. Around 11km journey to return by foot. Nice weather. Remember to take food and water. Taps and toilets included but limited. No polythene.

Stayed in the wild life bungalow for three days. Saw lots of elk, jungle fowl, rhino horn lizard, leopard and a lots of rare birds. Temperature is on the low with the wind for your imagination. Very nice. And inexpensive. .

One of the best creation of nature. Get there around 8am. You will be able to see bakers falls, Mini world's end and Worlds end. It's about 11Km circular trekking. I recommend to visit this beautiful place.
