Location is very good. However electricity, mobile connection are not available and you need to take food and everything. No signal for any mobile connection in this area. The road to the fishing hut is little bit difficult to drive and in a rainy weather difficult to drive without Four-wheel drive. However can reach the location with non 4*4 vehicle if it is a sunny day. Better to have a torch. They will provide fire wood and a bonfire. Can have a river bath but the water is extremely cold.

The Fishing Huts is a pair of beautiful log cabins situated on the edge of the Mooray Estate, Maskeliya, bordering the Peak Wilderness Sanctuary. Built by tea planters many years ago as a Trout fishing location, this wonderful place is one of the best hideouts in Sri Lanka for the adventurous nature lovers

Amazing place I have ever been. Care takers provide a good hospitality service. No electricity there so better prepare for that before you go. Huts are very clean. Choose hut no 1. Carefull when you get into the water coz its freezing, probably minus degrees. 4 weel drive vehicle is recommended.

The best place i have been there. Recommended to for nature lovers & others. What a beauty place in Sri Lanka. You must go there once in your life. We can do mind & body relaxing. Morning view is superb. Food will be made by caretakers who are friendly with us. No electricity. No phone signal. But can take calls anyhow. Nature pool is marvelous.

Another hideout near the banks of Baththulu Oya. Good place to relax your soul. Care takers are friendly and helpful. This is the starting area of Baththulu-Oya. Water is crystal clear and there are clear deep areas for a swim.

It's a good place with good care takers. Specially for nature lovers. No electricity but unlimited water supply. Basically a cabin in the woods. Hut #1 is the best one. Have kind of a natural pool. About 4km to Sripada from the huts.

Nice echo friendly place for nature lovers.. Not much of luxury stay.. Can enjoy as group. Water pretty much cold and no electricity.
