We only ate here as our hotel didn't have a lunch menu. Lured in by the sign saying 'burgers', but the chicken burger we got was very sub par and seemed overpriced for what we got. Ended up getting a second meal elsewhere. Seems as though most places have burgers on the menu for cheaper prices. Also charged 10% service though not explicitly stated on the menu as with other restaurants. Didn't rate our waiters vibe either, he seemed a little miffed when we only ordered one meal between the two of us. Also, in the bathroom the toilet didn't have a seat to sit on and the light didn't work!

Very nice view from the patio. And perfect place to stay, for the climb to Adams Peak. There is only a 5 min walk to the start point of the climb.

We enjoyed the stay in this clean family run guest house. The location is good for the Adams Peak tour. The owners are friendly.

Nice clean guest house with spacious, comfy rooms. The shower was OK - warm but never hot. The owner is friendly and gives good advice on climbing Adam's Peak. Breakfast was very nice. There is a lovely outdoor eating area overlooking the countryside. WiFi is rubbish unless you sit in the living room.

Bad service noisy humidity and not working WiFi ! Hard to sleep after the climbing with al the noise they do with their workings! And the cleaning lady that gets in without knowing at the door !i don’t recommend it

Not a good host the lady at the reception at clients complainings she denied and didn’t let the client to say them problems! There was noise for hammer working after the climbing hen people usually sleep . so rude! Not recommending

The hotel is located in a good spot to hike up Adam's Peak. The staff could not have been nicer. We arrived there late and they made dinner for us even after the dining room had closed. Similarly, or "hike" took us a bit longer than expected, but they had a nice breakfast waiting for us when we got back. They arranged a car to take us to our next destination too. The room was good for the price and our very short stay.

Very friendly family run guest house. Excellent food and service. Ideally located for an early start for Adams Peak (we made it to the top on a bank holiday). No card machine so take cash to pay your bill, no cashpoint in the town either (Feb 17). Overall a great inexpensive stay!

A very good bed, basic nice bathroom (with mildly hot shower), mostly friendly people (although they do not understand every question). The food wasn't that good. Breakfast was moderate and you have to like coke if you want to drink a soft drink with diner. They will do your laundry, but it may be good to ask if they can return it actually cleaned.. Also, the upper part is still under construction, and they don't really care that you're trying to sleep.

We had a nice stay at Daddy's guest house. Clean room, hot shower, friendly staff, nice breakfast and great view. We ate supper here as well, and quite enjoyed the cheap and tasty vegetarian curries. Only negative was current construction upstairs made it a little difficult to sleep during the day to prep for the 2am wake up.
