Wifi doesnt work half the time and when it does, its really really bad. Besides that the staff is rather decieved. One of the waitresses in the bar told me and my friends that the sodas in the resturant was free. When we had dranked it all she tells us it cost 150 ruppes each. Our restroom in our room was rather dissapointing and it got flooded every time we took a bath. Would not recommend.

Rediculars!!!
Tidiness of the place is not so great!
So noisy!
Staff are not friendly. Even thier not willing to provide basic needs of thier guest!
Despite the charges are very high the quality of the food was very poor!
In overall not worthy for the money spent.

One of the best place to stay, staff very friendly & trustworthy , I missed my laptop bag at the hotel & Mr. Ruchira ( manager) collected it & handed over to me without single item missing in the bag.higley recommended, trustworthy place , great food , great service .

It's close to all the bars, but this has also a major disadvantage. It's close a busy road and at night the straw dogs keep barking. Most friends slept with earplugs.
The breakfast was quite good, personnel is friendly, but wifi wasn't working.response / report this review -

The most pathetic experience ever. The wifi doesnt work in the rooms. The tv doeant work, excuse being its the weather condition when it was a perfectly fine day. The phones dont work. Apparently not connected yet. No towel in the bathrooms and the complimentary tea coffee tray not replenished. Rant over

Place good and clean. Buy foods are not in good look like place. They take little bit long time to serve order food comparing with others. I am not recommended to quick bites. Good for bring your kids.

Cons:
The hotel is not well built or maintained. It has 4 floors, but no lifts! Only a small no. of rooms have air conditioning. Mosquitoes in the room but no repellents of any sort. The hotel front desk closes after midnight so no help after midnight. And the food is also not that good.
Pros:
The staff are courteous and the room and bathroom was clean.
All in all, not worth price and had a very bad stay.response / report this review -

Located within down and close to the hiking trails. But the hotel toilet is not well maintained. The room appears to be clean. For a one night stopover take it. Otherwise take other quainter hotels in the area. Staff are at times nice and at times unsure about most things.

I really had a good time at Ella Gap Hotel. Food is fantastic. From the Manager to the down level staffs, all are very friendly and kind. Rooms are at its best and rates are reasonable. I strongly recommend this place to those who visit Ella.
