Indoor/Outdoor seafood restaurant. No A/C but many fans make it confortable. Tuna steak was excellant. Highly recommend.

$$ (7200 LKR - for 3 people)

For three people we ordered one prawn entree and one fish entree and three lion beers. You choose your fish there and they will tell you the exact price for different fish. The food is delicious. The waitstaff is very friendly and speak fluent English. The bathroom is clean. We went there for dinner and the atmosphere was great.

I would say it's still a bit touristy but the seafood is simply fresh!

If you are in the Old Town, you absolutely HAVE to stop at Elita Restaurant and get their snapper in lime sauce! I had 10 days in Sri Lanka and ended up going to Galle thrice - twice almost only for Elita! Cannot recommend enough. Brilliant service too! CJ served us and made the evening terrific beyond just the dining!

Really good, fresh seafood and excellent service! We enjoyed an early dinner at 5pm. No-one else yet. At 5.30pm music was turned on, 50cent didn't quite fit the sofisticated yet relaxed Sri Lankan atmosphere.

Unbelievable food!!! Amazing seafood. It's a little yellow cafe which does not show any sign of their awesome cuisine. Service is very poor, we were served by a trainee who tried real hard to make the order through. And he did it!!! Cool chef in the house, he worked with us to get what we wanted in record time. Send your taste buds to heaven. They deserve to be spoilt!!!

Disappointing - we went there because of the rave reviews online. The hostess took our order of a tuna steak and promtly forgot about it, and the order never reached the kitchen. When the fish finally came ONE HOUR later (only after we asked after it multiple times ) it was as dry and overcooked as imaginable. The coleslaw and salsa that came with it were sour, as if they were kept without a fridge for days. To top all these , the bill came with extra items that we did not order. The restaurant could definitely be better managed. All in all, would not recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a pleasant night out with good food.

So I rarely post reviews even more so negative. But this time I really have to share our experience.
The food was not great at all, all of our dishes were so salty it made it very difficult to eat even less taste it.
The wine was watery.
The music played was way too loud and felt kind of weird for this type of setting (rnb from the 90s).
But probably the cherry on top of the cake was the service: we were never asked if we wanted water (given how salty the food was it would have been a nice touch), we were not offered new plates in between dishes and had to ask, and when we mentioned our disappointment with the food, not even an excuse.
Oh almost forgot, food served was different from the menu description.
Would not recommend as this does not give an accurate representation of local food.

Nice Seafood restaurant i tried the steamed fish, it was delicious
Menu is rich, place is nicely decorated, staff are welcoming, highly recommended.
Prices on the higher side though, compared to Sri Lanka

The sea food here is amazing, best I've had in Sri Lanka.
Had the lobster.
Location is a bit iffy and lots of cats and dogs around begging for food. The staff constantly chased them away but still a little off putting.
Still I would highly recommend this place for the sea food

Fish was ok but bad service (forgot drinks but invoiced them) and no vegetarian food: We reserved a table and asked if they have a vegetarian option in the evening and they said yes that's possible. Then when we came in the evening they only offered cooked vegetables without anything e.g. Rice - so had to stay with vegetables for dinner, even they promised me some vegetable curry with rice.
