Great location on a long and uncrowded beach (no other resorts within 10+ kilometers), lagoon for kite beginners and freestylers, very nice and helpful staff, great food (though I wish it wasn´t that pricey)

Great place to enjoy nature with Sri Lankan things. Local food, unique hospitality,water sports such as kite surfing, stand up paddling, kayak riding and more. Dolphin watching tours are available at the season of dolphins . Service of staff is great . And also nice scenic beach and lagoon!

Fantastic spot to finish a tour of Sri Lanka. Most of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Primary issue is that the prices of activities are ridiculous - like 5 star resort prices - which was a bit unexpected. But the best things about this place are doing the free things anyways - beach walks, lazing in the bungalows, and swimming.

A truely unique and lovely place. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Peaceful and beautiful ambiance. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Another less known fact is that you can bring your dogs here. So pet friendly is another bonus point.

My time at Elements was fantastic. I tried kitesurfing for the first time and I absolutely love it. The kite-rental was easy, the instructors friendly and the food was phenomenal. I particularly enjoyed the beginner-friendly environment (flat shallow water in the lagoon, constant wind, great gear, etc). I will definitely come back!

Supernice Kite- and Watersports Resort, if not the best in Sri Lanka. Many different additional offers like dolphin-watching, trips to the nearby Wilpattu National Park!
One can even access the lagoon villas by SUP. each villa has its own jetty:-)response / report this review -

This Nature Resort is a real hideaway situated between the Indian Ocean and an amazing lagoon system, perfect for kiting (beginners and advanced level) and SUP sessions in the beautiful Kappalady lagoon which surrounds the resort. The endless beach in front of Elements is still untouched and invite for long beach walks. You might just meet some fishermen pulling in their nets. We also went for dolphin watching and were lucky to see not only many schools of dolphins but also 4 sperm whales just half an hour off the shore of Elements!! An absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience for the whole family! The nature villas are simply beautiful and give you a real nature feeling without missing out on any essentials. Big enough to stay as a family with four. If you want to experience even more adventure during your holiday, I recommend to book yourself into one of the beautiful cabanas with a nice lounge on the top level with a view onto the ocean and the lagoon. The food is delicious and healthy too, always fresh and absolutely tasty and served in the outdoor restaurant just next to the beach. The Elements team is just lovely and very helpful. We had a great time with them! Elements is definitely the best place to stay, kite, relax and unwind. Ah yes, not to forget the Yoga and massage treatments which are offered on your demand and which I really enjoyed after or before a long kite session.

Was there several times. Great location with very friendly staff! The place improved a lot over the years. Pool, beach bar, restaurant and now the new Cabanas make it a really nice and luxury but eco friendly nature experience

I had a fantastic time at Elements Hotel. Great kite surf conditions on both the lagoon and the ocean. Stand-up paddle and dolphin watching allowed for additional activities and relaxing by the pool or on the terrace rounded up the experience. Lovely setting and atmosphere with attention to detail, great staff and local amazing food. Thanks for a great holiday team Elements

Having an amazing time here, constant wind of around 18-26 knots, super flat water in the lagoon, nice sea to kite on with a good break 300 meters out of the coast, luxury bungalows, very friendly staff, amazing food, an allround excellent kiting accommodation !!!
