It doesn’t take much time to feel at home at this paradise.
We were there for three weeks and now we are at vayu for one month.
Both of these places were an amazing experience - good wind, good food, and the staff is unbelievable. I would recommend to my closest friends. See you next year!

Calm, relaxing place near to beach. Main attraction would be Kitesurfing, but to me it was the super pod of dolphins and sperm whale sitings.

I visited in March, off season for kite surfing but the best time for dolphin and whale sitings, provided LUCK is with you.

Towards the expensive side. Food is awesome. Staffs, extremely friendly.

If you're looking for a chilled out spot next to the beach with decent accommodation for the holidays, this is the place. As the name suggests the place is popular for Kite surfing but through personal experience I may assure you that it isn't the only attraction there. The beach provides an unparalleled experience with minimal danger. Also Kayaking is an available activity for those looking for sport. The views during sunset and sunrise are breathtaking. Even if you're not a water person, the resort gives you many options from playing board games to kicking back in one of their cool villas for a good read. A bar is available. The meals are pretty good as well offering continental meals as well. Tea and Coffee available throughout the day as well. Accommodation is available for Rooms as well as tents (of which the conditions are extremely good). Overall very good place.

It is a marvelous place to stay and be relax with lagoon breeze. I enjoyed serenity of the natural based accommodations with luxurious feelings. They used many environmental friendly methods to decorations . There used recycle and upcycle products in this beach resort. If you looks around you can see many creative things.It's more than a resort and it's like a nature paradise which gives us a our own destination.
Go and feel it.
Be a part of it.
Live a another life there with best hospitality.

Stuff is really nice and I guess during high season it's a great place. Right now almost nothing is going on, and for this the place was too expensive. Especially because they tried to let me pay more at the end (for the reason there were too less people for a group for the kite lessons but they didn't tell me before the single price).

Anyways: Food is awesome! Rooms are nice! People are super friendly! Sadly the price is so high, it kinda disturbs the great feeling of this place.

awesome place, awesome staff, kitesurf spot is right across the bridge, there is also the big lagoon 15min from there from which you can come back down wind to the camp. you can party every night if you want, some games are organized also after dinner when you can win free drinks or big massage discount. the place is guarded and safe, I left my stuff every day without worry.

Good food, great vibe and the staff are brilliant- especially Ragita the amazing Barman/artist/comedian/legend! Nice beach right infront and a nice bridge over the lagoon to get there!

Great place. Very chilled out and relaxing. Great food and value for money. Keep in mind, you don't need to kite surf to stay here, though as the name suggests that is their main attraction. This is a great place to go and relax in Kalpitiya amongst friendly people. It's also pet friendly with one of the owner's dog Wendy (pictured :D) being a constant friendly presence, which is amazing. Offers villa type, room type and premium tented accommodation. Beautiful location seconds away from the beach.

Instructors are really good and very friendly. Good atmosphere! Spot is beautiful but not always easy for beginners (wind can be quite gutsy) although it is in a lagoon so there are no waves which helps a lot. Only let down: general opinion from most people (me included) is that the manager is very cold and only looking to get your money : too bad as otherwise that would have been very nice!

A true escape from regular vacations, if you want a superior backpacker experience, or even a family escape
The location is tranquil, not a tourist hubso you're guaranteed time to connect with people. Their bar is ideal for sipping some mango wrap (an arak cocktail), beer and more.
The layout of the place ensures peace when needed, while also providing social space. So many places to lounge!
The food was also a highlight as local curries were well spiced, and other options quite tasty.
I stayed in a double bed room that was comfortable and well equipped. My favourite feature was the open air shower with its own coconut tree.
And of course, for avid kite surfers there are experienced instructors to ensure an adventurous ride. Yoga and dolphin watching are also on offer; the family that told me about it saw over 100 on their trip!
I found it affordable overall and am planning to visit again with freinds.

This is my second time at Kitesurfing Lanka simply because it's a superb place for relaxation, great food, beach just a walking distance, beautiful sunset, fun activities, very helpful staff and great value for money. Keep up the good work and I'm sure to visit again.

Switch off and unwind - amazing kiting and even a brand new butter flat Lagoon has appeared right in front of the beach

Good place. The camp is beautiful, employees are lovely and helpful. Very good location for kiting! However quite expensive As you pay per person, the nights get quite expensive for couples
