  This place was right ON the beach. They have two balcony rooms that are great. Host is awesome and really accommodating! I also met several other travelers that were great.

  This place is by far the best. Absolutely brillaint. You open the back door to a beautiful beach. In the night the owner will help you set up a fire. Play some music and soack in the fresh air.

  Very good service. Very good food. Kadira, the man friday will help you with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Back-packers love the place. The beach is also not too crowded compared to other parts of the bay. Many small guest houses in the vicinity and few restaurants. Lovely views.

  Very friendly owner and directly at the Beach. Nice to relax or to go for a snorkeling tour.
  Very cozy and charming place.
  If we come back to Trincomalee we will stay again in Dyke Rest.

  We loved this place, just dropped in for refreshments after snorkelling in Dutch Bay. The manager was the friendliest guy and the ladies in the kitchen made amazing foodwe went back 3 days in a row. Beautiful beach outlook and charming service.

  Great staff but rooms are not so clean, the breakfast is just correct. The location is not very good, in a kind of scary neighborhood.
  We got way better guesthouses for half the price in other places in Sri Lanka ($55 a night). We recommend to go to Uppuveli instead of here.
