This used to be the extension of the former and famous Sooriya's. Ram. Who was running this was a true local icon and legend. Sadly he died in 2015. And this place lost an unreplaceable soul

Dragonfly Inn Arugambay provides clean and affordable accommodation featuring simply furnished rooms. It also houses a 24-hour front desk and a library.

Rooms offer basic amenities featuring clean linen sheets and a seating area. All of the rooms are cooled with a fan. Bathroom facilities are either shared or en suite.

At Dragonfly Inn Arugambay, guests will find a 24-hour front desk, barbeque facilities and a common lounge. Guests can also make use of the bicycle rental services to get around the area. Laundry services are offered at an additional cost.

Authentic Sri Lankan-style meals can be enjoyed at the restaurant. Alternatively, room service is available and packed lunches can be arranged upon request.

I had an excellent experience at the Dragonfly Inn. The owner went through a lot of extra effort to accommodate me and the extension of my stay. I stayed in the bot hut and the coo-coo's nest, both were excellent! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe in the establishment as well as walking there at night. The only downfall was how expensive the vegetarian food wasbut the food was amazing, just a bit out of my budget.
