Nice hostel, rooms are okay, bathroom depends on your room. Chill out area is really nice.
Beach is 3 minutes away, Supermarket and Food is also close. You can find one of the best Kottus from Sri Lanka at a Food truck. Ask the staff for a description.response / report this review -

It's a hostel and suitable for individuals staying in dorm rooms.They have 3 standard family rooms in very poor condition.No A/C in room,hot water not available ,no food available, unclean room and mosquito menace .Only positive is that it is close to beach, not suitable for family stay.

Loved the place, good spot close to the beach, mount Lavinia train station, the guys are really kind and helpful, the owner too and helped me to plan my trip giving me a lot of tips. Clean place, good internet connection too

A nice place with a nice staf. I've been there for 5 days and everything was perfect! The roaftop is really beautifull and confortable.
The coffee and tea are free all day long ! :)

This hostel is located in Mount Lavinia, and quite near to the beach, employees are quite friendly and helpful. Oh yes, the hostel in Srilanka where I found they serve complimentary coffee/tea. And yes I met some of the best travelers there. Cheers!

Budget Hostel for backpackers. Super friendly volunteering staff. Clean. Amazing place to meet new people since it has a nice roof top to chill out and chat.

I like this hostel . Everthing available enjoy your trip when you in colombo . Staff friendly Richmond and Michael guide and help you . Owner also meet personally with you and tell about how you travel in sri lanka in budget . He guide you about places where you want to travel . Hostel roof enjoy 24 hour music anything you sit there and enjoy your meal

Wifi is slow at times and choppy, it was out for a whole day on my 2nd night. this is below expectations for a hostel.
Good location near to the beach and shops, there is a terrace on the top, the dorm rooms are big and spacious however there are lots of mosquitoes (they provide mosquito nets) and no AC or plugs near each bed.
if you book online and when you pay they will bump up the exchange rates higher than the market value. So be careful and don't let yourself get cheated.response / report this review -

First day of arrival, and this place is not really in Columbo, its 32km south,but having said that its was lovely to not be in the city. And anyone who I have met before has said do not stay in the city. Travel out, so glad we did this. but Kandy would have been lovely to stay for the first night.
