Friendly customer service. Excellent condition vehicles. Because of their large vehicle fleet you will be able to select the exact vehicle you want to travel.

We’ve just finished 2 weeks driving a Jeep around Sri Lanka & had a great time. The service was friendly & professional - Suranga & his team were excellent, both with our booking online before we arrived & once we were in Sri Lanka. There was a problem with our vehicle & Suranga arranged a mechanic to come to Ella & fix it - we were very grateful.
We look forward to returning & doing the Royal Enfield tour!
Oh & if you hire the black Jeep her name is Betty!

We rented a Tuk Tuk for 7 days an man we had a blast! So Many people smiled when they saw us driving! I really think there is no other way to explore srilanka, backpacks will fit in easily and you can ride it with three people.
The owner spoke real good English, and explained us to get an extra permit, do to insurance reasons! So besides Your international driver licence reserve about 40$ for the extra permit otherwise the insurance company will not help you if something goes wrong. Driving the tuk tuk is easy if used to semi automatic motorcycles because of the gear schifting. But learning is easy an you will feel comfortable after 30min of driving

    Thanks for the service.
    Kind regards
    Stas

Rented a Honda Baja 250cc for 2 weeks for a solo ride through Sri Lanka. Bike was in good condition, had no problems whatsoever. Dont forget to get the phoneholder as well which includes a charger for your phone! Great price as well and was happy they could arrange a sri lankan license for me after mailing them a copy of my international license. Thanks for letting me have a great time guys and thanks for showing me all the great routes on a map!

P.s. consider bringing your own helmet for obvious safety reasons. It will be way better than what you can get in Sri Lanka.

Man, what a wonderful time I had riding the breathtaking landscapes Sri Lanka offers. Everything I needed for this was provided by the friendly owner of Sha Lanka motorcycle rental. Good advice regarding scenic routes and what type of motorcycle I would need for them. If I needed some extra info on the bike during the tour, he was always just a phonecall away and more than adequately helpful every time (even when I had questions that didn't concern the bike/rental at all). The bike was in good condition, had no problems whatsoever. Plus, in Sri Lanka, both generally and mechanically, help is never far away.

The Sri Lankan driving permit was arranged in Colombo, easily as I was accompanied by a staff member who knew all ins and outs.

Two tips. The Honda Baja, what a great machine and 250cc is everything you need. Second, if you see the chance, bring your own helmet. The one provided by Sha Lanka worked fine but the comfort of your own helmet is nice on long rides.

    Have fun!

Recently finished a 7 day tour with these guys - and what a great experience from start to finish. Correspondence with Suranga in the office prior to the tour was easy and professional - nothing was an issue.
Bikes were in great condition we changed the itinerary multiple times and also during the tour if we wanted something different that day it was no issue at all. Our tour guide Nisal was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable of every area of his country, very friendly and kind and was willing to cater to any changes we wish to make mid tour - extremely professional and we became great friends by the end of the tour.
If you wish to tour Sri Lanka via motorbike this is the company fro you.
Thanks again for the great experience.

If you like motorcle adventure then you are gonna love this. Very helpful, nice, considerate people and you'll get to see the sights that you would probably miss if you were to 'go it alone'.
I have nothing but praise for this set up.
    Good luck.

Excelente place where to rent a motorcycle, near the airport. I took a Honda Baja to ride through the island, from north to south all the way round , they had my local driving license the day I arrived, and that was it.. just enjoy the ride and the country. Very trustworthy people. I would totally recommend it.

Very good bike & car rental operator which I've used for more than 10 years without any problems. One star rating by some reviewers is not deserved. Especially good organising big group motorbike tours around Sri Lanka.

Rented a scooter for 10 days to do a road trip in Sri Lanja. Everything worked well, reasonable price and no problem getting the deposit (200) back. They can deliver the scooter to your place for an surcharge. Scooter was in perfect technical condition and ran smoothly for 1000km even in the high mountains and after cold nights.

From start to finish a horrible experience
Failed to collect us from airport
    Bikes delivered late
Continual mechanical issues with the bikes
    No support from compan
Suranga , owner is chippy and arrogant
Gave us some compensation but begrudgingly

I have done bike trips all over the world. By far the worse experience. Recommend you use anyone else but this company
You run the very real risk of having your holiday spoilt

I rented a Royal Enfield for three weeks. The bike was in good running condition, with only 7000 km. I traveld the whole island, made 2200 km without any problem. The service of Suranga was great and i am absolutely satisfied. Thank you Suranga! Coming back to Sri Lanka, I will be your customer again.

We had a great time with Surangas Jeep. The Jeep was in a good conditon for his age. The best vehicle to explore the Island in a different way! Suranga arranged the paperwork in advance (Sri Lanka Driver Licence for Foreigners). Make Sure you had that, so the Police stopped us almost 10 times and ask for this document.

Two weeks scooter rental for two, more than 1200 kilometers run, no complaints at all. Scooters were in good condition and took us anywhere we wanted. Although some problems with deposit popped up, Suranga behaved like a fair businessman. Respect and recommend to everyone.

I have requested a jeep for a self drive rental for 18 days in November 2016. We paid approx 600 USD and deposit (30.000 rupee + 100 euros). Agreed was that deposit will be paid back in euros = 285€. Via E-Mail Suranga confirmed the car is well maintained, save and clean. We got the Jeep in Negombo and drove to Hikkaduwa. The Jeep was litterally falling appart, was dirty like hell (oil inside of the cabin) and when it rained we and our luggage got soaking wet. I called Suranga who arranged a change of the vehicle. The delivery was charged extra 60 USD. The Toyota Hilux was in ok shape and fitted our needs (it just came out of the shop). We could not rent it for our total stay, so it needed to be picked up again in Hikkaduwa, where Suranga wanted to charge again 60 usd. In a discussion via phone I explained that I do not want to pay for it, as I already had extra costs for the first delivery and reason for that was simply that he rented us a jeep which was way of the description from the mail traffic with him. After a quite direct conversation via phone and approx. 20 mails we got to a common Agreement regarding the financials. Problem was, that his colleage who he sent to Hikkaduwa seemed to have no, wrong, or late information about the agreement. So he handed me over the deposit 20.000 rupee and 100 euro (yes, i paid 30.000 rupee and 100 euros). So discussions started again. Further, the colleague did not know anything about the financial agreement and asked for the 60 usd delivery costs. So discussions started again. When I told him about a very unprofessional behavior of this car rental company, he got upset and personal.

    Fazit Jeep:
The Jeep must not be allowed to be rented out. It is not safe, not maintained at all, dirty and when it rains you get wet.

    Fazit Toyota Hilux:
At November 2016 this car was in ok-good shape. Safe, and can be used to travel the island for self drive (if you cope with the traffic).

    Fazit fleet:
The fleet is no big, and you wont get modern cars for self drive (driver only).

    Fazit stuff:
It was good that the exchange of the vihicle was possible. It took many calls and e-mails and efforts on both sides to make this possible. It seems the acting people (manager-driver) are not alligned at all, or it follows an own system where the customer suffers.

    Fazit professionalizm:
As a customer I expect that the cars meet the description as described per mail. Further, as a customer I expect especially that financial agreements are followed and that all acting people know the details. Other whiles it gives the impression that you are tried to be ripped off. A leaner, more transparent rental process and financial settlement is beneficial to raise customer loyalty.

    Fazit overall:
I would not rent again, but would rather pay a bit more at the known rental companies.
