Was there overnight on the Wesak day with the extended family ( including a small baby ). We were in two villas and they were well maintained and there was nothing to complain about. It was a very peaceful stay. I have given five stars in the rating, considering the overall satisfaction with all the operations. However, I feel it would do injustice to the hotel if we do not make special mention about the restaurant (Sands) and the food. I could rate the variety, taste of food provided during all three meals ( lunch, dinner and breakfast) very highly and far above what I have experienced in hotels of similar standing and even of higher star ratings. If I am to rate the hotel on food alone, this could well be in the top. We were able to see and taste most of the goodies we could think of ( only thing missing in the breakfast was string hoppers - for some reasons or other). Well done and please keep the good work. We would visit Club Dolphine again and would also recommend it to others who are looking for places to visit and not to be dissapointed on the money they spend.

Had a fantastic 2 week holiday here,all the staff are so friendly and helpful,there is plenty of variety in food served and it is all well cooked with lots of different flavours to tempt your tastebuds,we stayed in a superior room and there was loads of room for the 2 of us,the beds were comfortable and we had no issues with bugs in the room etc.
The pool areas and gardens were clean and well kept,with plenty of sunbeds for all,even after the sad people who decide to get up before dawn to "claim" there spot for the day have been busy.
The only negative issue I have is with the amount of crows/ravens that congregate around the pool areas,the pool attendants try their best to keep them at bay but with not much luck.Not sure what the answer is to this problem as they are quite annoying.
Overall we had a fantastic stay here and would definitely recommend it to friends and family should they ask about Sri Lanka in the future.

Food was OK with the grade of the hotel, went with extended family.

The rooms are separated hence you feel like living in your own house , which is great. Pool is the issue. Even the public areas a stormed with crows. Hence pool is not clean. But it is magnificent pool by design , one of the biggest I have seen.

The management should do something in that.

Staff was really OK, especially house keeping staff.

Second stay at this hotel. Very good all round. Very clean. Good food. All staff very helpful nothing is to much trouble. Especially the two ladies on front reception who seem to have the answer to any question you need to know also to Augustus who looked after our room. Spotless and very friendly when we saw him and always asked if there was anything else we required. Would recommend.

Have been here for three weeks the food is fantastic but the staff are even better chef come out and talk to you and will even cook something different if there is nothing you like which I would find hard to believe. Pool boys are very attentive, only grumble is on the all inclusive deal wine is not included and no discount offered if like my wife it's all you drink.
We would recommend this place to anyone and we look forward to our last two days.

What an amazing place!!! Everything was amazing food, staff and what a view. Sea view pool. Environment and other facilities are top quality.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The food variety is amazing. A very good place to relax.

Fantastic place with fantastic people. Foods in restaurants are delicious and high quality - the same with drinks in bar. Rooms and all the hotel environment are kept clean all the time. If you are not sure if it's worth to go there - don't be. What is more, it's a place where you can meet new, very interesting people. You won't be dissapointed.

Location is good on beach. Property is well maintained. Staff very friendly. But food not good for Indian vegetarian people. Not much cleaness in buffet Dinner area. Mosquito and housefly present there. But stay experience good and very big swimming pool and very good beach. You can enjoy evening on beach very quietly.

What a wonderful hotel, great smiling staff, great location, always a great selection of food. Brilliant pool and gardens also Lion beer on tap mmmm. Would i return Yes in a heartbeat. Taken ill just before leaving had to spend most of the day in the medical facilities but these are also top notch putting me back on my feet by the next day.

One of my favorite holiday destinations. Great hotel, facilities, one of the largest swimming pools in the country, clean pristine private beach, great food and friendly staff. The stay at the sea view cottage was really worth trying.
Recommended highly for the transit passengers through Colombo to explore the Colombo-Nigombo area staying at this beautiful place.

In a quiet location on the beach. Food exceptional with plenty of choice. Staff help with everything room is cleaned daily to a high standard . Two good bars and two pools one very large and the other very peaceful and relaxing.

Had an awesome weekend at the place. Decent rooms with clean bathrooms. Really amazed to see the longest swimming pool in Sri Lanka. Very friendly and quiet ambiance. The staffs were great and helpful. A must place to visit.

We have been here on a day package. An excellent beach front resort for relaxing. They have a great pool too! Staff is well trained, professional, and courteous. The buffet lunch is excellent with many western, oriental, and Sri Lankan dishes. Fully recommended!
