One of the best place to do all of your grocery shopping in nuwaraeliya. Parking is a bit of a issue in the season time and weekends. But if the driver can remain in the vehicle while some one else does the shopping , then driver can wait near by. As like all other supper markets in the country you have almost all the grocery items here and it is very convenient for you , if you are a tourist for the nuwaraeliya because you won’t know where to shop. Also the next best thing about this cargills is that they have a liquor store.

Situated right in the heart of the city. Parking is a bit difficult during peak times. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One stop shop for all your grocery needs when in Nuwara Eliya.

Their fresh fruit section is compact but the passion fruit was the best I had in all over Sri Lanka! Also it was so affordable. Around 2 kilos of passion fruit for less than $2 USD. I returned back several times to pick up fruit. In addition to fresh produce you’ll find all the conveniences of a supermarket. Good operating hours too that accommodate people’s busy lives.

Nuwara Elia cargills food city, can be more better, especially in a city like that. It was better way back in time. Now it's so congested. Too busy. But the staff is at there best at the cashier.

I felt that this place need to be redesigned. Since it is one of the oldest Cargills outlets in Sri Lanka we have to show that flagship status. Unfortunately the first impression just as I get in is that place in ruins. The Smell that breakup your nose is awkward. So People lets work hard and bring back lost glory. Smiles ..

Most Western style grocery store in Nuwara Eliya. More space than the Super K and they have most things you would need to buy. Can also pay your power bill there as well.
