Again another terrible experience at a Asiri Hospital. My child was admitted with a serious eye infection and we did not receive any room to admit him for hours. Instead we had to wait in a ward bed for almost four hours. Within that time two nurses came and tried to insert a canula to my babies hand. It was easily seen on them that they were not keen on that. my child was bleeding and blood was even on the floor. They kept doing it even though the baby was crying aloud. They were trying to put the blame on each other and shouting to each other in a very unprofessional manner. Finally they failed with the process and we complained the chief nurse about the incident. Then an experienced nurse came and insurtes canula on the other hand of the baby. My baby was in so much pain and they didnt even care about their mistake. Then again they have a trick of trying to allocate the luxury ro for patients saying that no rooms are available other than the luxury room which is so expensive . And most of the time they dont have medicines at their pharmacy that we have to go out and buy.Terribly dissapointed on this hospital.

Stayed 5 nights in the hospital with Dengue Fever. Service and standard was mixed depending on the person. Some nurses very nice and patient, others curt and seemed to forget I needed my drip reattached after going to the bathroom. I didn't really understand my treatment plan like why I was on restricted fluids and why I was given anti-vomit medication when I didn't feel nauseous and no one took the time to help me understand this properly even after I asked several times. Food was okay. I didn't understand my options due to the language barrier so didn't eat as much as I should have been with not feeling like Sri Lankan food. FYI you can ask for very plain meat, veg, egg etc. You may need to specify several times: please no spice, salt, pepper, sugar, oil (or whatever it is) as I found these ingredients always overdone. Discharge was long winded and drawn out. I felt uncomfortable when one of the male staff inquired whether I was married or not.

Their service is very much patient oriented and dedicated. Staff is humble and very professional and always their to help.

I recently went there and Mr.Ariyathilak helped me all the way through. I guess he is their People's Relations Manager. Despite him being very busy, he was patient, attentive and went that extra mile to serve the patients.

Their rates are also very reasonable, clean and hygienic. I highly recommend this for all.
