Have a great view through lagoon and sea. Sceneric. Car park is spacious. But heavily dissatisfied about the service. Went for an event there. Snacks supplied less than the crowd. also tea table didnt have sugar for long time. Service guys saw both incidents and they got hidden from area. Worst ever.

Excellent experience in a superbly run resort. Perfectly situated in the lagoon giving an spectacular view to guests. Cuisines are a delight and facilities are a boon.

This hotel is situated facing a lagoon and that is one of best places a hotel can be. It has larger yard giving us calm ambiance with a lot of trees. The other side of the hotel faces the beach, and it's a clean and a beautiful one. The food is also good have many variations as well. In the banquet hall I visited, the dining area is divided into 3 parts where the larger one has the buffet setup, so it has both pros and cons (good for weddings, not for conferences). (You can check with them to see if they have another set up.)

Only stayed one night as a stop over but a very nice clean modern hotel
Room was very good, food nice staff very helpful
Hotel is based on a river bank which if you feeling brave you can go in or there is the hotel pool
Would have been happy to stay longer !!

A lovely resort in perfect location. I had a great time with my friends. I loved the location since its separated from the noisy roads. Rooms were clean and tide, but i wish room service be better. I stayed around 2 days and very satisfied with the food and location.

Fabulous hotel set in beautiful surroundings. Staff are extremely helpful and lovely. Food is excellent and the housekeepers are brilliant. This is my 2nd visit to this hotel and I would love to return again in the future

This place is really excellently located to be able to have adventurous trips around the island and then to return into quite secluded luxury. For the price you get plenty of bang for your buck. Due to the price/quality valuation im doing in my head, I give this place 5 stars

Delicious cuisine, Services are friendly and accurate. Scenic environment and breathtaking place to stay. Yet there are some minor problems, it will be a better experience especially for the elderly people if they had a lift in the building where the rooms are and their own custom TV operating system laggs quite sometime plus they have space for make stuff better. Overall I had a nice stay there and can rate 5 stars.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. They have nicely arranged the room with cake and free mini bar with soft drinks. The Resort Staff was very helpful and Friendly. Food also tasty. You can enjoy the sunset at beach

Having a new hotel feel to it. Have lots of places to chill. Friendly and accommodating staff (no group playing in the pool if you are screaming though)A good portion of beach to enjoy the sunsetbut would not recommend to wet your feet due to rough sea. Buffet is of good quality even though limited variety.

Very nice and classy hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The restaurant and breakfast are also really good and not overpriced.
Just bear in mind that it is not possible to bathe in the sea in the rain season.
They really made us have a memorable honeymoon and even prepared a delicious candle light dinner at the beach for us. Very very kind!

Situated at the Kalutara River peninsula by the lagoon. Very scenic location. Super for relaxation. Very good cuisine. Just over one hours drive from Colombo city. Good pools. Two restaurants

Such a beautiful hotel with an amazing view. Rooms were well arranged and clean with almost all the facilities . The buffet was having a vast spread with some delicious collection of desserts. loved the room with ocean view and probably the lagoon view would have been even more better. Staff was very helpful and supportive as well.
The only negative fact is that ,while having meals , when we left the table to serve some more food our Cutleries were collected by the waiters and we had to ask them for and wait until they bring us new ones .
But overall it was such a good experience and love loved the hospitality delivered by everyone at AVANI..
