Food is decent - it's the only redeeming quality about this place.
Prices are way too much, the service is bad, ambiance is pretty "meh" for prices they charge & for bad service they charge 10% service tax!
Go somewhere else of you want better service/food. (unfortunately there's limited choices in this area - assume this is the only reason these guys are still in business)response / report this review -

Just polished off black pork curry with a loaf of local bread (roast pan). I give it 5 stars, recommended. Granted, it's 5pm and we'd hiked around for 6hrs, but still. Worth mentioning I has the black pork curry at Gallery Cafe in Colombo only 2 days ago, this beats it hands down.
The venue seems to have a decent vibe - sit up on the top deck for sure. Later there's some live music with an acoustic guitar.
Slightly pricy for what it is to be honest but if you are converting the £, $ etc. it's still probably cheap compared to what you pay at home.

Nice bar/restaurant. We went 2 times. One to have dinner and a second one for breakfast . At night they have Live music, some 60s 70s 80s classics. Food was good, mojitos even better.
For breakfast they have a buffet formula which is nice. Fruits, coffee, tea, cereals, beacon, sausages, pancakes, eggs Maybe a bit expensive but worth it if you're starving.response / report this review -

Nice place to have a beer, came here for drinks the other day and for a lion it's roughly about 400 rupees. Which in comparison to what I've had in the past seems reasonable. The service wasn't that great, the staff seemed more interested in other things that weren't attending to their customers. I'd happily go again for another beer.

We visited twice first was lovely food, live music and good service. The second time we went for a milkshake and dessert the waiter was not interested in serving us at all and was like we was a burden so bit of both

Went during lunch time. Less crowded and ample space. Its an open air seating area. However, their service is focused on Foreigners mainly that they fail to attend to the local diners. Parking is available below the restaurant.

Poor customer service.
When we we're ready to place our order the staff were just talking to each other and sitting down watching television (which is ridiculous). It was very difficult to get their attention.
When we did finally get someone, he wasn't welcoming at all and didn't listen to us while we were ordering. He was just was chewing gum and disinterested the whole time.
Your restaurant serves both foreign and local people. You need to have a thing called customer service to compete and for your business to get ahead.
Food was terrible. The soup tasted like the 2 minute noodle soups from the supermarket. After 2 spoons I was done.response / report this review -

In general good place but we leave the place with an sweet and sour feeling, until the last drink all was perfect. It was a rum and cola and we found a small cristal inside the cocktail. Unacceptable, avoid every not bottled drink in this place. They don't even offer any compensation, just another drink. In my country you would not pay they entire bill for something like this.

Very large but always busy (for dinner) restaurant. I came here for dinner two nights and the food was great both times. The live music was also fantastic - great quality, a great playlist and not so loud that you couldn't talk. Prices reasonable too.

This is the place to skip for Rottis - you'll get the same thing as that offered next store at higher prices so go next store for your rotti and not here.

Accommodation is close to the bar, which has loud live music, so that's an issue if you want an early nights sleep.
Amenities are a little lacking, no water pressure, so expect it to take a while to shower.

Probably the worst service we have ever experienced! This morning we waited for over one hour to get our breakfast - and we were the only one in the restaurant at that time! Even though we waited for more than an hour we did not get our food at the same time - an some even waited more. The food is by far delicious, but not awfull, and the portions are very small. I will definitely not recommend this place for anyone at all. They only receive one star because they serve cold beers 👍
