Honeymooned to St. Lucia and spent 3 nights at Ladera. Spectacular views, delicious food, and the most welcoming and friendly staff on the island. If you don't stay here you're doing St. Lucia wrong!

Ladera is just one of the most gorgeous resorts to stay at. Its beautiful tropical grounds and views of the pitons overlooking the Carribean sea are breathtaking. The food was amazing and the staff is so friendly and helpful always smiling and making you feel welcome. It was like being in paradise, we hated to leave.I recommend this resort highly.

We traveled to St Lucia a few years ago and stayed at the Ladera Resort. It looked incredible in the promotional materials and our actual stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations. This was our first stay in a hotel room with only 3 walls and the final wall completely missing. At first I wondered what it would be like, but after experiencing it I must say it was out of this world. I would definitely go again!

Heaven on Earth. The best vacation I've had in awhile and I travel extensively. Disconnect and get your body and brain back to full action. Love it

Most Incredible, Breathtaking, Surreal view ever!
Something about relaxing in your own pool in the skies looking at another mountain or the ocean below. The view was so beautiful that it made any little annoyance not worth talking about. Maybe this sounds a little corny to some, but I felt one with nature which is hilarious because I am so not an outdoor person. The place instantly brings a smile to my face when I think about it.
Like I said some little things here & there which some might not care for, but this is definitely a place you would want to experience. You cant get this kind of view just anywhere.

Ladera sits on a ridge overlooking Petit Piton and Jalousie providing it's visitors with one of the most spectacular views available in St. Lucia, and maybe even the world.
The rooms are three sided with an open front facing the view, and done in a very rustic way, with a varnished wood and stonework finish. There is no A/C, no TV and no radio, but most of the rooms have a plunge pool, some of which are heated, that will help you to relax and enjoy the view while you disconnect from the outside world.
The service is very good and the staff does a great job of making you feel at home at Ladera. They are friendly and professional, and always willing to assist.
The reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is that although the food was good, there were one or two short comings that took away from the 'wow' factor that you would expect from the food at a resort like Ladera.
All in all, a great resort to go to if you want to disconnect and relax in a very peaceful setting.

Amazing views and rooms with friendly helpful staff. The only issue which is not the hotels fault is that its incredibility noisy at night because of all the rainforest bugs good ear plugs are a must!

Definitely no "island service" here. The customer care was impeccable. They really care about the guests. I also liked that a local was the general manager.

A great place with open walls in the room concept. Fresh air and nature interaction. Gorgeous views from the rooms. With all this paradise it's hard to believe a main road sounds can be a lil tricky during night time. They provide ear plugs that really come in hand. Great staff. Amazing hotel. Keep in mind there is no TV. WiFi is provided though.

Very nice and close view of Petit Piton, having a drink while watching the sunset is so warming experience. Limited food and some waiting time but just enjoy the view, expect some mosquito since its an open space with nature surroundings. Staff are friendly and nice to explain things if asked. They have a pool, boutique and wine room as well at the restaurant. Great place to see the Piton up close without sweating and enjoy the splendid view while having some foods.

Review for the wine tasting experience. We had a fabulous time tasting four different wines in their beautiful wine room. The wines were of excellent quality and the pours were very, very generous. We definitely were quite tipsy at the end of the session. The cheese, crackers and meats which accompanied the tasting were also delicious. The whole thing was amazing value, at just $36 per person. It's a good idea to go on a slightly full stomach as you'll actually be drinking quite a lot of wine.

This is the best resort/hotel I have ever stayed in!

My husband and I stayed at Ladera for two days during our honeymoon. Needless to say, we have every intention on coming back to stay here. The staff is absolutely amazing! They were incredibly friendly, genuine, and overall accommodating to any need you may have. The views are gorgeous! If you want paradise, this is the place.

It was a great place to stay just for two days, then spend five days at Sandals Regency La Toc. The rooms do not have a TV, so it could get boring if you don't have any excursions planned. It was really great to splurge just a little for Ladera, but not kill the budget for the whole trip.

The only negative was we ordered dinner in our room one night and the bugs came flying into our room due to the lights being on and the food. We had to eat on the bed behind the mosquito net.

Otherwise, I had the best time and I know my husband did :)

Worth the money. Great views, nice staff. They do need to work on their menu and have more veggie options and preferably prohibit smoking in the restaurant/bar area. Otherwise, an excellent place!

Without question most awesome place I've ever been. The rooms are incredibly nice, the staff is the best I've ever experienced, and the views just simply can't be beat. Coming in July, I was worried about the heat, but even at the hottest point of the day, it still feels quite nice. The cool breeze is wonderful at night time and the sounds of the first just lull you into the noisy peaceful sleep you've ever had. Can't say enough good about this place. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful view, fantastic food, very friendly and helpful staff. The open fourth wall looking down at the mountains and ocean makes for a truly memorable, unique experience. Don't worry - there are mosquito nets on the beds!

6 out of 5 stars. From the views, food, and service this resort hits it out of the park. Would recommend to any couple! The staff caters to your every need and values privacy. Stayed in Hilltop suite with swing over the pool. A wonderful honeymoon!

5 stars all the way. Service was impeccable. It is open air so you will be essentially outdoors. We loved it some might not. The restaurant is some of the best food I've had anywhere. Period.

Incredible view. Very private. Great high end service. Only warning I would share is that you need to be comfortable with a room open to bugs, birds, lizards and weather. If those things do not bother you, its definitely an amazing experience to stay here.

The Dasheene Restaurant views and food are amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Also if you are in the mood for a little pampering, sign up for a massage.

Had the time of our lives here - if only for two nights. It was a total delight and the most indulgent thing I've done and there are no regrets about it. Food is excellent for the island, and the views from every spot on the property are exceptional.
