As a foreigner, I had to go to the Rizk hospital in emergency for a case of infection, a few days ago. Today, I have been informed that the Lebanese American Hospital-RiZK laboratory is unable to deliver my UCB analysis sooner than 2 weeks ( = around 12-13 may) which is not only a super long delay in itself (such lab work usually require from 48h to a few days max in the majority of modern hospitals around the world), but also totally ridiculous on the medical point of view.
Let me ask one question : what is the use of making lab analysis in a treatment when the treatment is based on the analysis, if you only get the results when the treatment is supposed to be almost over ?
I STRONGLY do not recommend this hospital.
Because i work here and we are a family.
I had a major surgery on 11 Dec in Rizk Hospital LAU. I got a great service and it's so clean and even the food is exceleexcand it got tailored to my needs (I'm vegan) and it's so tasty. The staff is so welcoming and always smiling. Soeur Mona and Ms. Mona pass by all the rooms to invite the patients to a coffee/tea/refreshments and cakes in the sitting room on the floor, making you feel at home in a big family.
Moreover, doctor Jallad. Is excellent and he follows up 3 times daily, making you feel so relaxed.
The worst medical center ever, very unprofessional, no respect to people. They gave me a confirmed appointment for today at 9:15 with the so-called Dr. Nicholas Ghazi; although the booking was 1 week ago for eye consultation. I was there on time although I had to wait around half an hour for the 3rd only available elevator to the 9th floor. The other 2 elevators were out of order. I waited at the eye clinic for around half an hour and an assistant called me and detected my eye pressure and done the eye vision test. Then the so called Dr. Nicholas Ghazi passed by the room, spoke with the assistant and they left together. After 1 minute, the assistant came back to tell me we are sorry, the so called Dr Nicholas Ghazi is leaving to another clinic if you can come another time. I told her it took me around 2 hours to reach the place and the so called Dr. Nicholas Ghazi could have seen me and would not have taken him 1 minute and all my file was ready. They are very unprofessional, I would never aim to visit this premise again specially this so-called Dr. as they have no respect what so ever. They could have called and cancelled the appointment one day before
1*: the worst medical center ever, i can't even call it a medical center it is a torture center: no respect, no human sense, bad nurses, they do not treat patients as human being and help them, they neglect patients, all what they care about is money. Medical major is a mission and its purpose is to help others and save lives but here at Rizk hospital it's totally the opposite. I do not recommend this hospital/farm to even my enemy.
I'm ashamed to say that I'm having the worst experience in this hospital. I'm an LAU graduate so I want to believe that my university's hospital is great but it's not. No doubt that the medical team is top notch, hence the two stars, but when it comes to the administration, something is definitely not right. The patient was out of the surgery at 9am. They kept her in the recovery room for two hours because there were no available rooms in the hospital (what?) After complaining, they found an empty room in a delivery room (funny, I know) and told us she'll get a room in the next hour. It's 3pm and she is still in some random delivery room. No self respecting hospital would allow such situation. A patient being rolled from one room to another. 6 hours (and still counting) after a major surgery and she is still not settled in her room. If you're overloaded, do not accept patients!!!
LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital one of the humanitarian hospitals & Represent all what is pure & good in this country , Alas rare traits. The nurses, medics, doctors & even the admission personnel been so attentive & very friendly. Their response the health of the baby & then the approval of the insurance company.
The staff are great and responding. No need to nention doctors since most of the patients come primarily because these doctors are there. The main remark is on visit schedule. It seems at the fifth floor people can come any time. The family of the lady patient with whom we share the room, brought 5 bags of Hawa Chicken products, spread them in the room with no ventilation to handle the odors. I am sure the administration has something to do with this. Thank you
Construction site between the rooms, bathroom/ toilet not ventilated, dirty sheets small rooms even in class A. Though great and very pro staff (doctors nurses and employees)
Service was amazing. The Dr there was very professional and helpful.
Its a modern hospital with very good doctors. Its provides a good service and everyone is nice with you.
Terrible service. I had an appointment on 23.07.17 with Dr. Chahine Assi. His secretary called two days before my scheduled appointment and told me there is an appointment available today at 3:30. I accepted the appointment. IWhen I arrived, the doctor was not there . After wainting until 3:50, I asked her if the doctor had arrived. She said no and there are two patients before me. I asked her why she called me to come today at 3:30? She replied we have no idea about the timing. I then asked her "what is your job ? And do you think that people have nothing to do in life than to just waste time coming in traffic and wait at least one hour for their appointment while they are in pain." Of course no reply again from her. Anyways, I cancelled my appointment and will never go there again and would not recommend this hospital and to anyone.
Well reputed hospital with good doctors, good staff and good facilities.
Very good
Correct Hospital, Kind Staff
One of Lebanon's oldest private hospitals, Rizk Hospital became a university hospital in recent years. This investment showed clear signs of improvement on the quality of service throughout the hospital alongside an expansion in size and scope of care.
I have several of my physicians there and it's been overall a positive experience.
Keep in mind this is a private hospital and thus financial coverage is primordial for admission and care.
Great hospital. Excellent staff
