A lot of paperwork and complicated bureaucracy when you visit as an insurance holder. The cashiers and staff are helpful to get the process done, but I wish it weren’t this difficult. Also wait times are long usually, and you can’t get an appointment for months for certain in-demand departments.

The best ever humble and very help full all the staffs starting from guard front doo to reception desks and as for Dr.s they are ready to help you in any request ..never had experience like this in a other hospitals in Lebanon.

Patient X was getting constant heart arrests.. He needed life saving medical intervention They wouldn't let him in the ER before he deposited 10K dollars.. At around 10pm at night.. Like seriously.. who carries around this much money at 10pm at night and no banks are open to even get them this when patient is arresting every 30 to 45 minutes.

I ended up taking him to Clemenceau Medical Center.. They didn't ask for a dime at admission to ER and required only signing a legally binding paper.. Patient X was considered a life saving situation and hence the money issued were settled after he was stabilized and actually waited till the next day..

AUBMC.. Please work on ur life saving policies.. You probably killed so many patients you don't know about till now if this is your policy..

I would’ve considered keeping my child’s sessions there, except I didnt rob a bank!

Absolutely the best hospital in the region. The Emergency Department in particular has the best trained staff, and is the only Emergency Department with Emergency Medicine trained physicians, accredited by JCI and ACGME-I. For any Emergency, this is your best and first choice. Although more expensive than other hospitals, you do get what you pay for.

One of the biggest and good hospitals in Lebanon. They have some excellent doctors and latest medical facilities. However, prices here whether it is a consultation, x ray or medical tests tend to be more expensive from outside. Moreover, due to high demand and sometimes extreme busy schedules, most doctors' secretaries and nurses tend to be rude and inconsiderate except for the ones who greet you on the ground floor. I have to say that expanding the hospital in order to accommodate more patients is a good thing but they really need better organisation and close monitoring of what is happening on the floor.

Lebanon's biggest private hospital and a university hospital attached the American University of Beirut, it offers massive services in all disciplines. Usually a go-to place for superior care by people from all walks of life and even celebrities and politicians, many now complain from the chaos that seems to be taking over the place, perhaps a side-effect of growth and massiveness. I remain a fan of smaller institutions where a more human face can interact with you.
