I am in love with this place. Simple and nice interior. Great mix of mexican and lebanese food. The food is yummy. They have good cocktails. Staff are welcoming. Service is good.

As per the birthday girl craving, we passed with my friend to enjoy her favorite dessert ever, the chocolate fondant.
What better then such a great welcome from the waiters and the manager. It is such a pleasure to feel the warmth of hospitality and high care.
Very cozy place, a must visit
My first experience below :
Staff are so cool and helpful, the setting is nice yet you feel it lacks soul, though in a old house in ashrafieh something is missing. Food tasty and good portions we tried the feta w veggies and the roasted potatoes but the best was the fondant like no way un missable!response / report this review -

It was the worst experience for me. Bad service, unfriendly waiters and angry manager. Food was served late, our questions for clarification were rudely replied using high tone too. We went there for an amazing atmosphere and food as reviews show unfortunately what we experienced was the exact opposite. I don't recommend it for anyone.

A serene and peaceful space, the place is a must-go in Beirut. The food is very special; some blended tastes you'll like and some you won't but still must try.
I love Frida and the place does her good, though I think the interiors could represent her spirit better than they already do and the music could be fixed at pure Mexican instead of just any Spanish-speaking song!response / report this review -

The concept and the way they mix Mexican, Latin and Mediterranean food is just perfect. Jalapeño hummus? YAAAS.
The menu is very rich and offers a lot of amazing options like the cherry kibbeh (Armenian/Aleppo style), the toshka (famous syrian sandwich named after a Soviet missile), frida's salad (a must-have) and a lot more.
Ask for their famous sangrias or their yummy margaritas. You can order a shisha as well which is a plus.
Great place to take people out and impress them with what Beirut has to offer.. The ambiance is unique and cozy, Frida is truly one of Beirut's true gastronomical hidden gems.response / report this review -

It doesn't even get close to anything i read in the reviews!! Sorry guys but the food is not fancy, the fusion is not proper, we had a dish that was old and gone bad!! But to be fair, the staff is amazing and welcoming and tried to help us throughout lunch!!
