Really great experience with a guide who told us so much about the nature and the local tribes living there. We did the s10 tour highly recommended!!!

My partner and I did the trek to the Kuang Si Waterfalls. I would highly recommend this - the trek made the waterfalls so much more amazing after a hike.

I would recommend to wear your bathing suit underneath your gear because the hike takes you to the top of the falls. By the time you go down to the bottom of the falls to change, you will most likely not want to trek up the waterfalls to soak and enjoy the scene from the top. The top of the falls is less touristy.

I am not good with nature, bugs, etc - there will be lots of this here (given it is a bit of a jungle, including leeches) - but I was able to persevere. We went earlier on in the season, so literally had two guides to ourselves. This was great as we could go on our own pace (which was fast). Alex, the owner, was great via correspondence and in person. FYI - if you, like me, are scared of leeches - just spray on 50%+ deet mossie spray. Our guides got a leech or two but we got none - I like to think from the spray (spray on socks, before you put them into your shoes, etc).

Higher prices than in some places. We were tightly bound in the minivan.

Great three day/two night trek. Pretty challenging and you stay in very modest village accommodation. No electricity, or western showers and toilets. Great time though.

Fantastic one day kayaking tour - highly recommend. About $50 per person if you join a group. Bring sunscreen and wear flipflops! The full day kayaking in August took very little kayaking skill because the river was flowing fast enough that you can mostly just float.
