Just completed a bicycle ride to the Kuang Si waterfalls, returning to Luang Prebang by boat down the Mekong River.
Well organised tour with 2 delightful and knowledgeable guides who cycled with us. A tuk tuk followed us as support vehicle, carried water and anyone unable to cycle the hilly sections of the paved road.
Simple lunch and plenty water provided
Very refreshing swim in the pools from waterfall.
Lovely return by boat allowing view of Mekong River life.
Highly recommend this tour and company. I felt very safe and had a lot of fun.response / report this review -

Fantastic day out with Leevrang, our guide. Well paced hike. He was very knowledgeable and could explain flora, fauna, local customs etc.

I loved my trekking tour. The guide was very respectful of the different tribes and you could tell they had a good relationship. Saw Tad Sae waterfall, hiked about 16 km, and took two boat trips with amazing views in one day.

Took the private trek to kuang si waterfall. Our guide was good making sure we don't slip as we go down the slippery slope. He even make us a walking stick. Overall we have a good guide.

We used Tiger Trail services twice in two days -- first for an around town bike tour and then for an easy family hike half day. Both times the guides were excellent, we learned a good deal about the town and country from the stops (such as the UXO centre on the bike ride and Ok Pop Top on the hike day) and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend Tiger Trail and will definitely use them again next time we're in Luang Prabang.

Fantastic company: well organized, flexible (easy in making changes in the program when need be) and they really know their way about. Had best guide ever (Thong). Planning a trip to Laos? Contacting them is a must.

We asked the coordinator specifically if there were no elephant rides. He assured us that there were not. We requested this specifically because this practice is awful to the animals welfare. When we got halfway through the trek, there were, in fact, elephant rides. How is that 'ethical'?
Amazing trek otherwise, however with something this important, I expect honesty.response / report this review
