  This place is owned by a malaysian married to local..the food is average and some need to oder ahead like nasi lemak etc..only the fried dish is available on instant

  Truly Malaysian halal food.
  Many varieties of dishes cooked in Malaysian style.
  The owner is Malaysian married to a Lao.
  I tried "ayam masak lemak cili api".
  It is really burning.
  Famous menu include nasi lemak and teh tarik.
  The other 2 halal outlets are Indian in origin, namely Chennai and Nisha.
  Opens 0800 til 2000. The owner lives in the guesthouse.

  A few restaurants provide Halal muslim foods in Luang Prabang. Serving Malay & Thai dish on menu. Good having breakfast here. Although the price is slighty expensive the taste still remains as our home. Must try the "Nasi Kerabu" on every Wednesday morning. The surrounding resembles early '70 ambient guesthouse with patio at the entrance. The kitchen still using firewood for cooking.
