  Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The cocktails were tasty (not the punch though, try the business). We had the green and red curries which were huge portions and tasty, the green had a strong kaffir lime flavour that was a bit too overpowering but the red one was great. Happy hours bogof cocktails makes it 45k kip for two.

  It was freezing the two nights I was in Nong Khiaw. These guys have a charcoal fire going in an old bomb casing, and if you're not close enough to that, they'll stick pots of fire under your table to keep your toes toasty.
  
  And maybe that's why it's so friendly and has such a relaxed social vibe here? Or maybe it's because the bartender (owner?) and the server are so enthusiastic and charming and set a lovely tone? When I came back 2.5 weeks later, the server recognized me and gave me a complementary dessert that was fantastic. I was charmed.
  
  And the food -- veggie green curry & the vegetarian special -- is so good it just puts everyone in a good mood. I met one of my favorite fellow travelers yet here, shared the first two of a few meals together, kept my fingers from falling off frostbitten, and ate some great food. Go to Q!

  Cosy. English speaking (foreign) staff. Happy hour between 18 and 20. We had 'The Business' and a 'Tequila Sunrise' for 45k in total. FYI, even when it is cold outside, this place is nice and warm

  Reasonably priced food and drinks, good cocktails and happy our… friendly staff.. free shot on arrival.
  The BEST meal I've had in Laos so far (3weeks) The 'vegetarian special'.
  My partner is not vegetarian and he simply loved it too. So delicious that we ended up going there for lunch as well just to have another one of these

  If you're in Nong Khiaw and looking for good drinks, food and friendly service, don't miss this place. 2 for 1 cocktails for happy hour. Tasty Lao food - including tabletop barbecue which is definitely worth a try.

  A must go if you are in Nongkhiaw! The owner is so kind and his smile along with the rest of the staff make this place feel so warm and inviting. The food is good, and the cocktails are strong. Don't miss out!

  Really well done cocktails and a cool atmosphere. The upstairs has low tables and hammocks and is great for chilling! And the staff are really nice.

  The best bar in Nong Khiaw!! We visited twice during our recent visit to the area. Great atmosphere, super fun and friendly staff, good music and yummy Lao Lao cocktails, 2 for 1 happy hour. Free Lao Lao welcome shots too! The BBQ set and the Nong Khiaw rice salad (lettuce wraps) were both generous and delicious. Do yourself a favor and visit.

  There are two levels of seating, it's good for larger groups too. The food is ok and if you're lucky, a cute little mutt will come by and warm your feet!

  The guy who owns this place is amazingly friendly. Great drinks, free snacks, awesome atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you are in town!

  Great cocktails, and 2 for 1 at happy hour so nice and cheap. Loas bbq for dinner was really good. Beware of the owner/bar tender - he also runs the travel agent next door. We saw him trying to sell overpriced tour packages to some customers. Do your research/ask around before agreeing to a tour package.

  Great place with good music and a choice of food including their own kitchen and a deal with the Indian restaurant opposite. Owner is a super friendly guy and the foreign travelers who work there and drink there are great too. In fact we felt no need to go anywhere else which is rare for us!

  Best bar in nong Khiaw,
  Great staff, good old rock, reggea and blues music, and the cocktails and food are so good. Everyday cocktail happy hour from 5pm till 7:30pm.
