This road is reserved only for food, drinks, fruits and cakes.
Many varieties of food, from heavy meals to vegetarians.
Some food are fixed at 15 000 Kip per plate.
Most of the time you can mix your choice of food. Reasonable price, no bargaining.
This place is very crowded so come early at 1900.
I love to hear so many languages being spoken here.

Lots of cheap eats here, the stalls on the left are open for lunch every day and you can get excellent Laos spicy noodles or other dishes for as little as 15000kip.

Crowded and bustling area to eat and buy souvenirs. Get some grilled fish or some soup and be sure to find a seat quick. After dinner, the coconut puffs are soooo good.

Highly recommend to have a taste of Laotian street cuisine. We normally buy afew items and have a feast back in the hostel.

You could find local food like grilled meat, papaya salad, fresh fruits, the famous vegetarian buffet for 10K KIP, noodles, and so on. Price’s very good. I saw many locals eat there but the place doesn’t look very hygenic so for people who didn’t grow up with this should be careful.

Great and mostly clean street food, so also for an untrained stomach digestible food. There is a huge variety of vegetable, fruits and BBQ food and the smell is just mouth watering. The atmosphere is fantastic, when tourists and locals sit together to enjoy a nice snack or dinner.

Great place to pick up some local (and good value) fresh food, and meet some friendly locals or travellers while you dine under the covered seating area. Food can include filled baguettes, barbecued river fish stuffed with lemon grass, generous portions of noodle soup with veg/meat, as well as fruit smoothies and crepes.

I found it too crowded to leisurely walk. But if you're looking for souvenirs you're bound to find something here. They sell everything from the SEA-typical elephant pants to hand-dyed indigo cotton and hand-made jewelry.
I did like eating the noodle soups (Khao Soi/Khao Piek - 15k Kip per bowl) at the entrance to the market and the vegetarian buffet options (15k Kip to fill your bowl once with anything you like).

If you are looking for some local food with super cheap price, this is the place. There are BBQs where you can pick your choice from a range of fish, pork, chicken, sausage There is a sausage stall at the beginning of the alley that sells sausages from around the world for a price of 12000 to 18000 per portion. Further inside there are some buffet style food stall where you pay 15000 kip to get all the dishes you want as long as they all fit in a bowl which the shop owner give you.

Food is OK, not expensive (15 000/bowl) and you can fill your plate to a "embarrassing" level. Don't go if you're claustrophobic!

Several stalls offer a fixed price (15.000kips February 2017) and you can choose and load as much as your plate can hold. The best to my taste was the vegetarian stall, clearly cleaner than the rest and charging only 10.000kip. Located by the corner of the temple.

Set in a narrow alleyway at one end of the handicraft night market, the food district is a set of stalls selling excellent Lao food to eat on site. The stalls include a wide variety of Lao food, including lots of bbq and salads and one stall has a comprehensive vegetarian buffet. Tremendous atmosphere and fantastic food.
