Basic Mekong Riverfront Guest house, with restaurant by the Mekong River just across the road, relaxing view in the evening. Massage parlour two doors away. Five minutes walking to morning monks alm parade. many cafe along this river front road. Good place to stay. Value for money.

Although it is a small guesthouse, it is very clean & extremely friendly. They assist me daily on getting to all the beautiful sites without spending too much. Excellent restaurants they suggested especially Eric. His knowledge of where to eat Lao or others. Good location. Lovely place. Very serene & peaceful.
First time & solo over 60s. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Wish I've plan a longer stay there.

Eric was SO helpful. I honestly booked this place because of the reviews that mentioned how helpful the staff is, and it was 100% true. He helped us with all of our questions, booking tours, a bus to another town and even exchanged money at a great rate. Guesthouse itself was nice, small rooms but comfortable. Breakfast across the street at the hotels restaurant was great. Mahalo Eric!

Had a great stay with View Khem Khong. Room is neat and clean with classic touch. Eric the owner and his staff are great host, friendly and helpful. Strategic location with great view of the Mekong River.

Loved this place. The manager is the best and goes out of his way to make your stay the best. Try and book the front room as it is a bit bigger and you get a view of the Mekong. Food at the restaurant is nice and comes quite fast. Would recommend the fish Lab, very nice. It's located near all the action, but far enough away from the main street not to be noisey.

Quaint two-story guesthouse located as close as it gets to the Mekong. Owned by a Lao lady and managed by a Frenchman named Eric. The lady also owns the restaurant with the same name across the street. The food doesn't impress but you can't complain with the view of the Mekong!

One of the absolute favorite places I have ever stayed. Worth paying extra for the larger room! Eric is amazing, helped us get around to everywhere we needed. I never wanted to leave!

In spite of the fact they have a good looking restaurant at the river, food is overpriced and they have a rude staff (unless you are served by a Lao waiter). food is average quality. Do not recommend it. Does not worth it.

Very nice guesthouse. My room was very clean and cozy. The location is fantastic, right across from the Mekong River and centrally located. The owner and his employees were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
