Must visit place. Nice swimming pool and exellent place. This place is feel like in the nature. I highly recommend this place if you are in Pakse.

Though this is a bit outside of town the location is stunning. Don't buy bus tickets through hotel, as I believe they charge a higher rate. Otherwise, worth paying a bit more to stay at what seems like paradise in Champasak. Lovely resort.

This a luxury resort pretty much in the middle of nowhere. If you'd like peace and quiet, good views and wildlife then this is a good place. We were greeted by what research told us where Empress Cicadas - the biggest and possibly the loudest cicada. The food is good. The people are very helpful. This is a great place for visiting Wat Phou and Champasak - which are both nice - and a better place for a day trip to Sit Phan Don than staying in Pakse. Recommended.

If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life, The River Resort is the perfect getaway. The resort is about 30 minutes away from Pakse International Airport. Reach out to the resort directly to get the best available rates or promotion packages. Every employee we have met goes above and beyond to ensure we are comfortable. The restaurant food is delicious, my only suggestion to the resort would be to increase more choices of local Laotian food. Overall highly recommended and I would definitely return!

Beautiful setting, lovely rooms, attentive staff and great (though a bit expensive) food. Nowhere close to it in quality in the area.
