Not really worth it. As with everything in Vang vieng, it's an overcrowded mess. Well, actually the cave was quite relaxing compared to the white trash fest outside it.

Tip: just go to Thailand instead.

Very nice place, little bit expensive food and drink because is touristic place. Cave is beautiful but it's hard to walking inside. If is sunny day, there are a lot of people's.

A pretty incredible cave. It is huge. The first chamber has a reclining Buddha statue and is naturally lit. Beyond that, you will need your own light source. After, enjoy a swim in the beautiful pond outside.

Don't go the Lagoon. Hate to say this, but unfortunately as other reviews said.. you'll find way too many large groups of Korean people here, which kind of makes it difficult to really enjoy.

Unlike a previous review the cave here is huge and is a fun, struggle to explore on your own. You will need torches as there are no lights at all.
You can hire a guide which could be sensible as are some dangerous areas.

The lagoon is average and crowded but nice to cool of and have a play.

It is not easy be prepared and better with a guide but u will make it eventually it is too much dark also And the next by lagoon is to refresh so take ur swiming suit with u And the road tob reach there is majestic too

Nice place to jump in the water from the tree, not too crowded when we went there (noonish), cave is easily accessible but bring a torch or use your phone but less convenient. It's quite slippery but doable with flip flop.

I like this place because they have blue lagoon in the front where I can jump from the tree to water. You should try.

Used to be so beautiful, now ruined by 400 koreans in lifewests, heaps of buildings and an entrance fee. Other spots are better!

Pretty steep way, also inside is really slippery, adding extra piece of excitement when its done with flip flops. Headlamp is not nesseseary if you have phone .)

It's worth jumping into the "Blue Lagoon“ that's more green than blue. You'll need to be at the entrance of the cave before 5pm or they won't let you in.

The lagoon is awful, there are more people in lifevests in the water than after the sinking of titanic.
Cross the bridge and continue up the stairs to get to an awesome huge cave (10k/pers). Bring a flashlight, it goes pretty far and deep.

Tourist trap, better to have a swim at the river in town, it's free and less crowded. And better scenery too! And please don't ride the elephant attraction just outside, don't promote animal suffering.

So if you arrive knowing it is going to be busy, then I think it's fine, catch a seat and watch everyone throw themselves off the tree. Also, the sandwich bar is relaxing and the same price as in town.

You can expect something more naturalistic while this pool full of tourists is boring after 10 minutes. The surrounding is beautiful. So better walk in the near jungle than jump another time in the puddle.
