good service and casino
Cool environment. There are also some other beer restaurants nearby which looked interesting.
Just terrible, during our overnight stay I only encountered 2 English speaking staff, it was difficult to find the check in counter, no direction to our room. The food quality was ok but the waiter forgot my drink order. ( we were the only table)I tried to have a Whiskey and coke charged to my room and found that process very difficult due to language barriers. The bed was rock hard and the overnight noise made it impossible to sleep, our room looked out to the casino floor and in the morning noise from other rooms came in via the aircon vent. I would not recommend anyone stay here.
The hotel is not deserved 5*.
The water come from tap with yellow of alum (room No. 5208). The view of through glass window is nothing, just the roof of a building.
Wifi is weak.
Blanket and cover of mattress are stained.
There is no swimming pool.
Poorly maintained, but ok not too bad
Previous review dissappeared somehow? So here we go again. Savan Resorts is ok. It's even good, for Laos standards. Just don't compare it to other, international casinos. Best part: The spa. Without a doubt. It's fantastic. A bit pricey, but hey. It truly feels like a luxurious treatment. The casino floor is ok, nothing more. The staff is very friendly. However, their English skills aren't exactly stellar. Now to the bad stuff: The wifi is frustratingly slow. You'll be lucky to get a signal in your room. The water in the bathroom can occasionally be yellow (during rain season). The beds are hard to lie on. Finally, the bar in the heart of the casino Let's just say they really struggled to make me a gin & tonic. Any drink more advanced than that is a nightmare, if not impossible. Overall 3 stars.
Awesome night
Good place to waste a few hours waiting for the embassy to open. Good food and free coffee. Very limited variety of slots and they rarely pay, but guess that's why the coffee is free 😊
Many different card games available.
Could have a little more variety of games. Little more English would be helpful too, but it is not the national language so no problem.
Can't compare to Las Vegas or Macau Casinos. It had some walking fleas on the floor with red eye flash searching for meal.
Having one seated while on winning streak just messed it. Shouted word of pit-cha' on my turn of card hit and other gestures were hair-raising experience.
Casino ok. Restaurant was the food served cold. But otherwise ok. Potatoes in swiss style to forget but we are in asia
The casino is ok if you really NEED to gamble. For the price, the hotel was just ok. I'd stay here again only if another better option in Savannakhet doesn't open.
