First of all, this is a beautiful property, with an amazing view, and better than average facilities compared to what you would expect from other guesthouses in the area. The bathroom facilities in particular are the cleanest I've experienced in Laos. There is a ceiling fan and air conditioning unit in each room; as well as, a TV, mini bar, and patio. The staff is excellent, especially the restaurant staff who are attentive and friendly. Overall, this is as close to a western experience that one should want to get while staying in Laos, and I will return for a stay the next time I'm in the area.
Some issues did arise though. Opening the patio doors let in an unsettling amount of flies into the room, to the extent that I had to ask for the room to be sprayed and cleaned. I also asked that the sheets be changed since I didn't want to sleep on sheets that were sprayed with bug spray; all the cleaning staff did was turn the blanket over to the clean side so that it would appear that the sheets were changed. I left the air conditioning on while out for dinner and came back to a floor covered in water. It seems that the air conditioning drainage had a leak causing water to leak through the ceiling. By the time I came back I was too tired to walk back to the front desk to ask them to clean it up. I ended up putting a towel down instead. I would've called the front desk but, there aren't any phones in the room.
One last thing that is neither negative or positive, the restaurant served mostly western food. I was interested in eating locally and went off site to eat, but if you want get a steak, or are travelling with picky eaters who want something 'safe' to eat, the Sanctuary restaurant is fine.response / report this review -

Despite what you may see in photos, you may realize otherwise when you visit this hotel property. It was not good enough for my stay. It was not clean enough and too far away from town. If you wanted to eat or massage elsewhere, you would have to drive into town for 30-40 minutes in poor road condition. I travel quite often and I would rate this hotel 2.5, 3 at the most. After visiting the hotel, I've contacted Expedia to cancel my reservation, but the hotel refused based on its policy. As a VIP member, I never had any problem cancelling my reservation, but the general manager of this hotel was more focused on following its policy, rather than wanting to find out the reason for my cancellation and how he can accommodate to provide very best customer service. Good hotel with good management is always interested in how to best serve its customers' needs to provide a memorable stay and I did not see that here. There are far better hotels in town if you want to experience VangVieng.

너무 상업적이고 매력을 잃어버린 방비엥의 단점을 상쇄시킬 최적의 호텔입니다. 라오스에서 가장 큰 Nam ngum 저수지 인근에 있으며 카약, 패들보트, 요트 등의 수상 레포츠를 즐길 수 있는 Private한 곳입니다.
비엔티안에서 방비엥으로 가는 13번 국도에 Tha heua 마을에 있고, 기사님께 말씀드리면 내려주십니다. (처음 밴을 예약하실때 여기서 내린다고 지도 보여주시고 가격을 조금 낮추셔도 될 듯 합니다.) 내려서 호텔까지 들어오는 길이 비포장도로라서 미리 픽업 서비스를 부탁해야 할 것 같네요. 저희는 운좋게도 마을 앞에서 집원을 만나서 편하게 들어갔어요.
인테리어, 욕실, 침구, 수영장, 레스토랑, 마사지 등 모든 것이 만족스러웠어요. 슈페리어룸이 조식을 포함해서 40$. 직원분들도 항상 웃는 얼굴로 맞아주셨고, 굉장히 친절하십니다.
단점: 첫 날 정전, 드라이기가 없는 점, 매일 호텔 오너와 관계자들이 레스토랑에 모여서 비지니스를 하는 것.
꽃보다 청춘 방비엥 여행 하실 분은 비추~^^;response / report this review -

여기 가세요. 혹시 여러커플이 간다면 최고입니다
아침에 일어나서 보이는 호수 뷰도 최고고,
산책하는 재미도 있습니다.
방비엔에서 놀고 딱 여시서 쉬면 최고입니다.
그런데 음식은 그린뷰리조트가 맛있고, 프렌티 스타일의 조식 맛있어욬ㅋㅋㅋ 추천합니다.
여기서 비엔티안 가는 버스도 예약할수있어요 가격은 오만낍으로 방비엔에서 가는 것과 똑같아요response / report this review -

Upea paikka, jos haluat olla rauhassa. Kohtuullinen hintataso, vaikkakin hieman korkeampi yleiseen tasoon verrattuna. Aktiiviteettejä vesiurheiluun löytyy ja englannilla pärjää. Mopo tai auto on aikalailla välttämätön liikkumisen kannalta ja paikan löytäminen on haasteellista, mutta välitse tämä, jos kaipaat rauhaa ja lepoa. Siisti, puhdas ja kaunis. N.32€/yö

Nous sommes venue en couple , 5 jours dans cette hôtel.
En cette période pas grand monde donc nous avons eu la bonne surprise d'avoir une chambre supérieure à notre arrivée.
La vue est belle, le calme fort appréciable,
L'hôtel et les chambres très bien entretenue au goût du jour et le personnel serviable et agréable.
Les seuls point noir pour moi sont le Wi-Fi à certain endroit,
la carte du restaurant qui ne propose pas assez de chose à mon goût, mais on peux aller manger local au village à 500m.
Pas grand chose à dire de plus,
Pas mal d'activité proposé sur place,
Vientiane à 3h ( 50 000kip transport local ), Vang vieng à 30min ( 15 000kip transport local )
